Every time I cast Blink I DC from the game. I have removed all of my AddOns from my game-files, restarted my client and done /reload x1,000,000 to no avail. If anyone else is having this issue please respond (in one form or another) to this forum post so that Blizzard can get it fixed.
Get shimmer
It doesn’t happen every time but it does occasionally. Happened to me yesterday in a dungeon. For the record, it has nothing to do with whether you take Blink or Shimmer. I don’t understand the technical side of how this works but I believe that because of what the ability does the server sometimes can’t handle your character suddenly loading somewhere else and that causes the disconnect. I imagine the immense strain the servers are currently under doesn’t help either. But not to worry, if Blizzard don’t start fixing this and the hundreds of other bugs that are rampant in this expansion soon all the servers are gonna be as dead as they were during Shadowlands (pun intended).
I’ve had this happen with both and I ONLY use shimmer because it is the GOAT mage ability.

This happened to me 6 times today and now I am stuck in a disconnect loop.

Yeah I was thinking the same thing and it has also been happening when I mount my dragon boi to go dragon riding sometimes.
