Every single 70-79 dungeon has max levels. Please let me opt out

Lol i love to laugh at whine threads about complete non issues.

No, it probably means they are doing a weekly quest. Given a choice, ill do regular over heroic to be done as quickly as possible.

And are you really upset you’re popping through these quickly?

it is great logic and fact . If you want to make sure that no max levels are in your group your only option is to form the group outside of LFD . may take you a while as most players enjoy the carries so they can do higher content quicker

Blizzard are not about to impliment something like this a few people.

Oh forgot about follower dungeons - use them , no 80s in there and much quicker to que .

WHy take the time to que --weekly dungeon quest can be done on follower dungeon mode --in in out in five minutes for a max level

Rather do the dungeon. Ill do the follower if I need a few more disks for that quest

Or they want their weekly rep quest, which oftentimes chooses dungeons that are NOT in the Heroic Dungeon Rotation…

And btw…

It’s stupid that some dungeons aren’t in the Heroic rotation. I’d like a shot at maybe getting a decent piece of gear while doing the weekly rep quest, but nah, they always choose dungeons that don’t have Heroic versions currently.

They should just make it so that all TWW dungeons have a Heroic version, all the time.

You think level 80s are strong? Theyre nothing compared to level 71s in Amirdrassil gear

You can opt out. Grab 4 like minded players and stop using the group finder to queue into dungeons with pugs.

I hate it when people spew this BS.

The RDF is there to make finding groups reasonable. Anybody who played back during Vanilla, TBC, and Early Wrath would remember how much of a PITA it was to form groups manually, and it is also why a lot of people never touch the M+ system whatsoever.

Manual Groupmaking is not really a viable thing if you want a group anyday soon.

What they need to do is shuffle 80s into their own groups and 10-79s into their own bracket so that people can have fun, though as another poster suggested, Level 70-72s wearing 460 are also a rather ridiculous problem in dungeons, especially if they happen to be WW Monks lol.

They could get around the 70-72 thing by scaling them down a bit if they are over X item level (make them behave as though they were wearing 420).

This has the same energy as those “twinks in TW dungeons” posts.

It’s literally a leveling dungeon. Just enjoy the ride.

Yeah, God Forbid a player want to actually participate in the dungeon or practice his class (esp. healers and tanks) or anything like that, right?

Not everybody finds fun in just walking from one end of the dungeon to the other, maybe looting if they can find the time.

If the Worldsoul quest says to run a seasonal, you best bet it’s going to be a normal, and you best bet I’m going to cleave through it in five minutes.

Sorry for your leveling experience for those five minutes.

The last time people complained about max levels running Normal dungeons, their ability to do so was removed entirely. And none of us could help friends or do quests.

I do not want to go back to that.

Right. There are 4 other people in the dungeon. It really doesn’t matter what one person wants. It matters what the entire group wants. And if the rest of the group is vibing, just go with the flow.

It won’t happen every single dungeon. There won’t always be an overgeared player smashing through everything. They can queue up for the next dungeon and spend 30 minutes clearing it while practicing their rotation. They’re not going to hit 80 from one dungeon; there will be more.

Also, follower dungeons exist. If you’re not in a rush to get to 80, then minimal experience gains won’t be an issue either.

Why not just Follower dungeon and do the same thing instead of ruining other peoples’ fun?

I’ve done a number of dungeons across a number of characters, esp. healers and 7-8 times out of 10, there was an 80, usually a tank with 10mil+ health that needs no healing for the entire dungeon.

Like, literally, how am I supposed to ever practice healing before I get to Heroics if the vast majority of groups I get have an overgeared 80 in them? It’s impossible.

Then I arrive at Heroics barely knowing how to play my class and struggle to keep anybody alive.

That’s been my experience thusfar on most of the healers I’ve levelled in TWW.

I’m not ruining anyone’s fun. I’m clearing a game objective.

If someone does, indeed, feel I am ruining their fun, they can /ignore me and never see me again for having the audacity to run a normal dungeon.

Because the person who isn’t in a rush to 80 should be doing follower dungeons, as they give less experience.

You didn’t answer the question, though.

A follower dungeon would always be insta-queue and would accomplish the exact same thing.

There’s “gives less XP” and then there’s “gives almost zero XP”.

Literally, delves are better for XP than follower dungeons. The ONLY thing Follower Dungeons actually do is complete quests.

Yeah, but I like chatting with other people. Weirdly, no one said in the two norms I’ve done that I’m ruining their fun, so I’m just going to assume it’s okay. :stuck_out_tongue:

Chatting, in a dungeon, while speedrunning it?

I call BS.
