The fact you chose to lie about people showing off when they were most likely running friends or doing their weekly. That’s not gaslighting. That’s just someone who has not only done it themselves, but runs hundreds upon hundreds of dungeons a year.

Most of them you can safely pull entire rooms. Rookery is very dangerous though.
If you are looking for max fun with aoe though, priory is insane. And plenty of places to los pull and gather.
Arakara though… I was there in the early days when people spam dropped group lol. And the first boss in m+ gave me ptsd. No one could comprehend the mechanics. It took me all season to time it at a 10.
Personally, I’m most engaged with the dungeon when I pull everything to the boss and we have an Aoe party. Oh, I also engage by mass pulling everything and doing old school LoS pile ups so dps can unload and have fun. Is that not what engagement means to you?
Dare I say, I do this while lvling as well as at 80? I dare! I dare!
Being able to do more than 1 ability to it before the level 80 3 shots it in 4 seconds with 95% of the damage done. I don’t care if it’s aoe pulls or single target. I literally can’t get anything off.

Dude I’ve been leveling 10+ alts above level 70 all spamming dungeons. You don’t think it’s possible I’ve run into 4-5 people bored showing off?

You’re STILL SO hung up on that aspect. I just want to opt out of having 80s carry my low level dungeons doing 95% of the damage. Why is this such a difficult thing for you?
I understand chasing down the pack, trying to get a rotation in, being frustrated because the tank just runs…empty shadow crashes galore.
But then I remember that the endgame is where the full rotations are to be had. Everything else is just speed chowder and doesn’t matter. Pretty much how it should be.
There really is no enjoyment in slow content, especially content run a thousand times. Just my opinion on it. I’ve been frustrated with the running before, made my peace with it.
Idk I like lower level casual dungeons. It would be nice if they mattered to those who play them. When i’m just boosted right through just standing there it just feels like a chore like I’m just waiting and not actually playing a game.

no the playerbase wants to run a dungeon in mach speed, so the 80 helps. trash mobs are boring anyway. the real fun is the bosses that get mowed down in 5 seconds and not any less - lest you get kicked for slowing em down.
Just leveled my warrior tank from 70-80. I was top DPS almost every run, including ones with 80s. The scaling causes some weird numbers. Removing 80s wouldn’t do anything.
