Every race shouldn’t be allowed to be a Druid

In the world of World of Warcraft, the races of Night Elves, Worgen, Kul Tirans, Tauren, and Trolls stand out as the most suitable candidates to become Druids. This distinction arises from their unique connection to nature and their shared dedication to preserving balance and protecting life. Druids are renowned for their versatility in combat, able to fulfill roles as tanks, healers, and damage dealers through shapeshifting abilities. These races, rooted in different traditions, collectively harness nature’s raw power and are guardians of the natural order.

The essence of Druidism lies in its multifaceted nature. These Druids embody a wide spectrum of abilities, from destructive forces to the healing touch, all grounded in the cycles and transience of nature. Their source of power is nature magic, tapping into the moonlight magic of Elune, solar energy, and other natural forces. This deep connection to nature enables them to adapt to various roles and challenges, making Druids one of the most versatile classes in the World of Warcraft universe.

Furthermore, the lore surrounding these races underscores their significance in the Druidic tradition. From Cenarius’ teachings to the emergence of mortal Druids like Malfurion Stormrage, their rich histories have shaped the Druidic path. The Tauren and Night Elf Druids, in particular, joined forces within the Cenarion Circle, symbolizing the unity and peaceful coexistence of these races in their shared mission to protect nature. In summary, the Night Elves, Worgen, Kul Tirans, Tauren, and Trolls possess a profound affinity with nature, a heritage intertwined with Druidic traditions, and a versatility that aligns perfectly with the multifaceted role of a Druid in World of Warcraft.

No race should be allowed to be druids, we should delete them from the game.

Every race should be able to be every class. At least it’s finally happening just to slow.

I look forward to rolling a Mechagnome Druid in service to Titan Keeper Freya and shouting - " < insert character name >! Maximize!" - just to see people malding over it. I’ll be sure to have plenty of popcorn, too.

Don’t worry, Blizzard will continue to design druid customizations and gears to suit Night Elves and nothing else.

Looks at Pandas

No, you can’t be a bear.

Trolls every other expansion: trying to kill all non-troll life, and worshipping dark and evil gods that corrupt the natural order

The druid class is just one more great hunk of meat that Blizzard has harvested from the mighty corpse of WC3 Night Elves and served up for everyone to enjoy.

Not much left on that carcass these days.

I’m all for all races for all classes but as someone who plays mostly Nelves having to welcome Undead Druids to Nighthaven does irk me a bit.

Not to mention the Zandalari Raptari clearly are not about “preserving the balance and protecting life”. The only thing they’re preserving is a big enough population of game for them to hunt whenever they’re bored.

I unironically want Pandaren to have an ox form for tanking.

for gameplay every race should be able to play every class

but I don’t really want to see, say, undead paladin npcs running around.

I agree, why anyone would play a druid when you can play a pally is beyond me.

And Draenei shouldn’t be warlocks, yet here we are :dracthyr_shrug:

Eredar had Warlocks when all elves were still trolls. Over 30,000 years in fact. If anything you younglings shouldn’t even be in the same room as a demon. What race do you think Kil’Jaeden and Archimonde were? Eredar, who later became Draenei.

And the draenei who crash landed and joined the alliance, before the Eredar were allowed to join back, would have had every reason to prohibit draenei from becoming warlocks.

Given that warlocks represent everything they were fleeing, everything that destroyed their home.
