Started a game where it was 5 ally vs 40 horde for the first 5 minutes, this is getting ridiculous.

Horde always totally stomps these groups. As much as I like getting 5200 honor when allies only getting 198 I feel for you.

You knew what you were getting into when you rolled alliance. You knew you would get instant queues and get screwed over by premades not joining

Translation. We have real lives and don’t want to waste an hour getting no honor killing the same horde turtlers over and over.
You cry about 20 minute queues… then force an hour game when you could win much faster… whatever floats your boat.

yea my past 3 games have all started with <10 alliance vs 40 horde just gonna stop queuing until blizzard does something about premade dodging (which they will never do because they dont care about classic)

AND I do NOT cry about long queues …I rerolled alliance, only level 39 so far
Premades aren’t dodging anything, they are selecting the same game to join after cancelling the initial popup. It is an unfortunate byproduct that sometimes matches aren’t filled at the start, but that’s is not under anyone’s control.
Imagine the mental gymnastics to claim that a behavior being employed by the player base which results in a negative gameplay experience for others is somehow “not under anyone’s control”
Yes, you aren’t in control of your actions at all. Blizzard is making you ruin the matches for your other alliance members. Its all their fault for allowing you to behave like this!

They respond very fast to genuine exploits when those become known, as the hotfix concerning WSG group queuing demonstrates. I’m not saying that what’s happening to Alliance solo queuers doesn’t suck, but I can’t think of what can be done about it, exactly.
Even in a bg alliance will do whatever they can to avoid pvp. Omg a game might take 20+ mins if we actually play. Oh the humanity…

Unironically this. The fact that Alliance players wilt, crumble and flee at the first sign of PvP just shows their mindset. It isn’t about playing the game. It isn’t about fun. It’s about ZOOMZOOMGOTRAGOFASTDOWHATMYFAVORITETWITCHSTREAMERSAYSISMOSTEFFICIENT and if anything happens to even force the tiniest deviation from what they’re told is “best”?
Let them win it’s over stop defending just let it end
Unfortunately this isn’t even a faction thing. It’s a player thing. Your generation has been crippled by almost 20 years of being told that it’s bad to put in effort for something. We didn’t even have the term “tryhard” 15 years ago when this BG was first released.
You’re afraid of putting in effort and failing. It’s pretty obvious for anyone to see. To try your best and still come up short. The thought terrified you.
But that’s life. Success isn’t going to fall from the sky. You aren’t going to magically have everything you ever wanted just gifted to you without lifting a finger. The sooner you make peace with that the better.
Take a note from some of us older guys. The next time a ZOMGRUSHDREKRUNSOUTHTOWINHURRYHURRYGOGOGOOFOFOGOFOFO falls apart… brawl it out. You might actually realize you enjoy actual pitched large scale PvP. You might even have that mythical thing us old-timers call FUN.
And maybe you’ll figure out that FUN is its own reward.

We all knew people would be leeches in a Cross Realm experience. No repercussions when you have the entire playerbase to contend with. I see plenty on both sides just being passive in spots that yield honor but, are out of sight.

Even 40 v 40 non-premade is a 100% loss to alliance … as soon as I am exalted I will be gone … never to return to AV until the IBT free horde win is fixed … ie never
