  • Reckless
    • Non-boss enemies without mana ignore 20% armor with their attacks, but their armor is reduced by 30% and they take 10% increased Arcane damage.
  • Thorned
    • Non-boss enemies without mana inflict Physical damage to their attackers when attacked, but take 10% increased Holy and Shadow damage.
  • Attuned
    • Non-boss enemies with mana inflict 20% increased magic damage, but take 10% increased Nature damage and 30% increased damage from Bleed effects.
  • Focused
    • Non-boss enemies with mana have 30% increased Haste, but take 10% increased Frost and Fire damage.

With these afflix changes mage will again be meta, FOTM, god comp. They do frost , fire and arcane damage without the need to play a different class, they keep getting rework and weekly postives changes throughout Alpha and beta. Don’t beleive me look at shammy and then mage and you call tell the difference and now blizzard openly create afflix that favor mage the most.

Damage profiles and utility will remain more important than spell schools will be TBH. God Comp will likely remain good because it ticks all the boxes for what makes a good comp in M+ (strong survivability, insane AoE profile, best utility) rather than it benefitting from the new affixes.

If Arcane is bad (or at least, hard) then people aren’t gunna play it cause it deals 10% damage to some non-boss mobs in a dungeon.

I was going to main my Warrior in The War Within, but these affixes seriously have me considering going with a different character.

you mean demon hunter* chaos damage is all elements excluding holy dmg.

  • +7 and up now has 2 affixes
  • Just what everybody was begging for: MORE AFFIXES
  • Affixes will now favor specific classes over others week to week
  • Bolstering / Bursting are still here btw
