Okay, done over 200 sieges and it is supposed to drop from the final boss in the basement when you kill him.
What is the drop rate of this toy? Because doing the siege 2-3 times a day is getting a bit old.
Afaik it only drops from first kill of the week per toon.
I believe it has a larger chance of dropping from the purple bag, and a significantly lower chance from the rest of them.
I don’t know that it can drop from the white bag at all.
If you need it for the lava snail, don’t bother. Have someone heal you or stack self-heals on yourself and youll be ok.

This is correct.
I went resto, took off all gear with stamina, precast my hots, blew a convoke just before looting the snail, and went bear form to throw on frenzied regen. I finished looting it with about 3 seconds to spare before I died.

If I could find anyone available to heal me through it I would. But no one is ever available to do so when I am asking.
And I don’t have enough self-heals to deal with the lava. I have tried.
I’ve done that stupid event every week from day 1 on two toons and I’ve never seen it drop. Eventually gave up and just used a kind druid to heal me through the lava damage to get the mount instead.

I do not know what the drop rate is. From Wowhead it appears to be pretty rare and has the best drop chance on the first run per week where you get the Purple box. I tend to run around 7 alts a week through the events and got it on one of them, without even knowing what it was.
I have yet to get the snail mount, but will eventually do that!
