I’ve actually seen very few true evoker mains.
I think I’ve seen 3-4 in the last 2 weeks. Is the class just that boring to most?

I found devastation to feel kind of awkward/janky. I’ll have to go back and revisit it eventually.

its just boring. the spells lack oomph, the “dragons” look more like bipedal lizards, and the dps spec is literally unfinished

I haven’t seen a lot of dps evokers but I have seen plenty healers.

All the DPS evokers died off when DF launched. All I ever see are healer dragons.

Trying to do some quests as an evoker is a huge pain. Even with all the zipping around to not get hurt. Some rares I just can’t solo like my other toons

If I could play one without being in dragon form and I could make my Evoker look less derpy in “human” form…I’d play it a lot.

I thought they would originally look more like Alexstrasza. They kind of just look like a knockoff-ish version, more clownish… :no_mouth: imo

Tbh I wish we could have it like DHs and Dragon form was our major CD. oh and be an elf visage instead of a boring human

Preservation is just too good to not play. Devastation is buggy and half finished with bad DPS and bad survivability.

It could be suffering from the boomkin syndrome. Lots of players never tried boomkin bc it looks kinda goofy, maybe it’s the same with the lizards and the whole deviantart thing.

Preservation is horribly boring.
I like how devastation feels.

The only problem I have with Evokers is that measly 25 yard range, other than that, It’s fine imo.

Its like everything else in this expansion half baked and lack luster. The game feels like they rushed thru it.

Loving evoker and my guild had 5 of them. Hard to fit all of us in since 4/5 are DPS. Mythic roster is always like a raffle XD

Never had issues with that. Worst case i pop Bloodlust lol.

Either way, right now its primarily a Healer so its already a niche in itself. Devastation feeling a bit lacking, specially in PvP outside the oneshot combo.

Also more niche theme/aesthetic than DK/DH who just appealed to the Hot Topic crowd at large, lol.

I expect them to settle around Monk/Shaman in term of popularity, which is fine by me. Unless they really butcher Preservation for whatever reason its most likely going to stay my main.
