I get it all the time on one specific post. It usually happens when the thread gets necroed and the person liking it is reading it for the first time.

Yes, and no I don’t think it’s awkward. Some threads are still going that started several months ago, there is bound to be posters going back and reading from the start.
In some cases you may come across someone whom you find their posts interesting, so you take a look through their post history. I do this myself with particular dialogues that catch my eye, especially if they are entertaining.

Happened to me a few times. I give an eyebrow raise followed by a shrug and move on with my day.

stahp it. Deep likes creep me out. Specially if it turns into a torrent of likes across multiple posts in different threads.
I have that happen all the time on my tumblr blog and it’s weird.
example: I have a post related to resident evil biohazard. That game came out quite awhile ago and people are still stumbling onto it. So it’s like “damn guys you were way late to the party”
It was a post about the crazy brother character in the game and that black jack mini game you can do with him

YouTube is a bit different they put a lot of old stuff on the front page very often. It’s not you are searching a persons post history and hitting like on them all or flagging them all.
I like to think it’s people using Google search. They typed in a question and before looking at the date of the thread, responding to it. Not always the case, but sometimes. I’ve done it in the past.

I remember once finding that banana video onision did and finding it funny because I didn’t register in my head that was him. So yeah my brain pretty much trolled me there.

Some people don’t live on these forums like us and actually only come here once in a great while. So they read old stuff not marked read. Happens to me a lot. Necros also.

You wouldn’t like my stuff we float around different beliefs when it comes to most things such as Raider Io, Titanforging ect. I feel like you would have a hard time to hit like on it all.
