Yes, it means time to take a break.
I thought it was just me. Thatâs exactly what I experience. Iâll think about all the stuff I want to do, then look at the Battle.net launcher and the âPlayâ button and simply canât muster the will to click it.
Youâre not reading what Iâm saying. Blizzard wants to create a system that endlessly creates experiences for the players with almost zero input from them.
Youâre thinking of the traditional model - create content, players consume content, create more content, players consume that content, so on and so forth. Money out, money in. Thatâs just the traditional model, that doesnât help increase Blizzardâs profitability in any way. Their âHoly Grailâ (and in many ways ours, because we also want to be able to endlessly consume content) is a system that endlessly generates new experiences without requiring input from them.
Thanks, if you arenât a collector donât compare yourself to the people on that site they collect constantly lol. The effort you guys put into raiding/M+/pvp the top collectors put in that much effort if not more to get all the stuff they have.
When I start to do this rather than playing the game, thatâs when I know I am burned out lol. I remember back in EQ, I would sit and stare at the login screen for 20 minutes, just looking at my characters. Would log out and go do something else. I quit a month later. Sometimes itâs hard to let go.
Yes. You need a break. Maybe see other games.
You will be back.
Been playing for 15 years, never had that feeling.
Yeah, my sub ends in a few hours. Iâll be back later to check things out, but Iâm gone for a few months.
