as of the prepatch dropping, the events in the maw are bugged and cannot be completed. The % completed bar that is supposed to pop up when u enter a zone with the tormentor’s of torghast or wrath of the jailor never pops up, so u cannot make any progress and either of these events. I tried turning off all my addons and that didn’t fix it either. please fix this so we can farm our maw mounts

Same… this also happens on DF events like the Big Dig… Can’t see progress/tasks, but for the maw events it’s worse because they are not timed and won’t complete by themselves.
Edit: Zovaal’s Vault is also not appearing anywhere it should. How would they mess these things up with a pre-patch 2 expansions later

Yep, same issue. Ran around killing things for 20 minutes first day after patch hoping it would trigger them to start… nothing

Still bugged. Maw has historically been the buggies place but as of late i’ts near impossible to complete anything. Here is hoping for tomorrow’s fix!
All of the Maw events have been prone to bugging since the Dragonflight pre-patch. Same as with many of the campaign quests, like “He Was My Student”. I have submitted dozens of bug reports, posted repeatedly on this forum and nothing has changed. All still broken or buggy. I have lost all confidence in the development team management and for years blamed it all on Bobby Kotick, but these past months have shown to me that it only copium I was breathing.
Bumping this thread because, hey Blizz!! these events are STILL broken. I know it’s “old content” but there’s a significant amount of us in the Maw daily trying to do old achievements towards the meta. And it’s been WEEKS of not being able to do any of the events because they’re bugged and never start.

Progression bars for Wrath of the Jailor and Tormentors of Torghast not appearing, nor are the bosses spawning. Sat through two Wraths and a Tormentors with no luck.
9/26/2024, US - Earthen Ring - can confirm still bugged, no progress bar showing up for Tormentors of Torghast. This bug is standing in the way of completing MANY achievements.
Had a friend report this bug a couple months ago - received standard reply, did not accept reply, and was told Blizzard knows about it and no known fix.
If we keep pouring in these bug reports hopefully they’ll decide to try to fix it.
