In the pre cata zones (classic zones) are these zones take a place after or before the new cata 30 -35 levels zones?

they were introduced with Burning Crusade.
the pre-cata zones no longer exist in the game files.
“classic” content was re-worked with cataclysm.
So the “old” zones were revamped during Cata to give a better leveling experience leading up to the max level Cata zones. The stories are fairly self contained. You can skip around to zones to see different parts of the story leading up to the Cata events. The main ones are Searing Gorge, Darkshore (Alliance), Barrens (both northern and southern), and a few others I’m not remembering right now. These ones all have part of the Deathwing storyline and the most revamp of the old zones.
The only way to see the original zones is to play Classic, which is a whole different beast.
