I get long que times. Play arcane
Age, long Que. assa rogue , long Que. I don’t even try to play any other melee with an estimated wait time of 20 min. That means 40 actual minutes of my 2 hours to play a week.

Unpopular specs means you don’t deal with as much duplicate protection, so you’ll have faster queues (in theory) than something with more competition, like bm, fury, etc, as you’ll have equal chance to get in as any of them but higher chance than a second one.

But at the end of the day the mode is still gated by healers which aren’t optional.

Just make friends and q 2s or 3s. Or reroll healer if you have that much of a time constraint.
