Even More Time-Gating

Blizzard is trying their best to time-gate EVERYTHING. I’ve been picking herbs for 2 weeks and it finally occurred to me that Death Blossom is just a way to time-gate herbalism. It’s extremely hard to gather Widowbloom in any great quantity because there is less herbable land in Revendreth than any other zone, and when 3 out of 4 nodes are Death Blossom, it’s just terrible.

No, some herbs being rarer is not time gating.

It is because Death Blossom intentionally slows you down when you’re trying to pick herbs that actually matter. It is completely time-gating. 3 out of 4 times Death Blossom spawns in place of the zone herbs.

Come in Classic and farm Black Lotus and then you’ll feel like those “Death Blossom” are raining in your inventory compare to it.

I have 10 times more Death Blossom in my bags than any other kind of SL herb. If you think it’s not time-gating, you are blind.

It feels like everything is time gated. Well, more than usual anyway. I find myself wanting to do more, but every activity I enjoy has some sort of timer on it.

Rare spawn herbs have been a thing forever, that isn’t new.

Zone-specific herbs are not supposed to be rare.

Widowbloom is the worst of all herbs and it either needs better respawns timers or more nodes.
Maxed Herbalism and I got 34 in an hour. You even get more Nightshades than that and that’s the rare one. Check out your AH. WB is double in prices compared to others because of the spawn not to mention the layout of Rev.
Insert frustrated Herbalist/Alchemists noises.

You really got to lay off the herbs
