Evasion changes

I understand leveling up is supposed to be super easy and can be done almost blindfolded etc. etc. (Insert whatever comment that says what a cakewalk leveling is here). Isn’t evasion the number one defense for a rouge and to not have it until level 27, isn’t that a bit much. Are rogues that much stronger now. I didn’t see a huge change in the talents.

Yeah i agree. I just think almost 1/3 of your leveling is without it. It’s doable but annoying

Maybe they devs want new players to learn to manage energy and use Feint Elusivness talent? But in reality most new players will opt for Cheat Death.

Honestly for leveling Cheat Death is a better talent in most situaitons becuase using energy to pew pew enemies tends to be more worthwhile.

Not like you have proper cleave damage at lower levels to begin with so Elusiveness value is diminished with the fact the energy talents come later in the leveling process.

um…hmmm. Good discussion between elusive and cheat death. I usually go with cheat death. but in this forum i was talking about evasion (Increase dodge chance by 100% for 10 sec). Thanks for your opinion on the choice node though

Well that is all that new players to Rogue leveling have now to choose from as Evasion is way down the talent chart so they have to rely more on Cheat Death or Elusiveness as a result.

Ah, see where you are coming from now. Makes more sense. I just think it’s ridiculous for it to be way down there. Are they not expecting any new players to fight an elite or rare mob until almost level 30. Cheat death is great but even triggered may only save your life for a maybe 2 to 3 sec. Elusiveness has the requirement of evasion (Evasion also reduces damage……) So cheat death is the only option there
