I am particularly fond of Dwarf and Goblin RP, are there any guilds at all that cover either one or the other? is there RP at all in the server, and if so at what time?

Clan battlehammer for sure i know for dwarf. But there maybe more.
If quickfuse cartel is still around you can find them for goblins.

Their is definitely RP around. Out of all the RP servers this one is my favorite. Our guild is Scarlet Crusade regiment that went rogue when we saw the evil that they brought to Azeroth in exchange for the “greater good.” We take all races and classes.
Also I do know of a guild that was around that was all dwarves. I cannot remember the name though. Also go to TinyurlDOTcom/wowsoa which was made for the server. It’s a round table and everyonce voice is important and deserves to be heard.

RP Scene on Emerald Dream is non-existent. (unless you count the chest thumping, with no action, some of these guys do as RP.)

I’ve played on all the big RP servers. Their is an innate toxicity to some. Specifically Moon Guard and Wyrmrest Accord. It’s really pretty sad. I was told apparently that both servers have had this reputation for a long time. In the beginning though I was told Moon Guard was the Mecca of RP. It’s anything but that now. It’s like a bright light that faded leaving only a pale shadow.
Also said toxic group of people tend to play Alliance on MG and Horde on WRA. I’ve been playing MMORPGS since the days of the internet services like AOL and Compuserve, and Genie, before people were out on the actual internet. Out of any game that I have ever played in terms of toxicity, MG and WRA are truly the Kings.

Honestly if you would have just shut up about those realms instead of trying to turn everyone against them, no one on ED would have ever thought to look your name up to see why you got ran off. No one would think to google Banegrivm to see why you got blacklisted.
Kind of funny how your stubbornness and unwillingness to just change your name or shut up causes most of your problems.

Hahaha awesome. Oh and Malba anyone who knocks this server and the RP’ers on it is likely trying to do so as a recruiting tool, trying to get people not to play here. Their used to be a group here before SoA was up and running. The group in question used to brow beat people and belittle others for their own amusement.
It was just crude, vulgar, and disgusting. Thank God those people left the server and don’t play here anymore. Another thing that I should have pointed out earlier is that we are seeing refugees coming from MG ands WRA almost every day it seems.
A running theme with them is that they got tired of the god moding there, people ignoring the games lore so that they can puff up their ego’s, and all the flagrant sex garbage that goes out in the open on both servers.

Hey how is WRA treating you over there? They love to run their mouth and push people around, be toxic, etc. You would know right? 
Go back to your master. I have no use nor time for people that I put on my ignore list and people that I’m about to put on my ignore list. It’s really a shame that you guys don’t want to be team players but it is what it is.

When I came to ED years ago it was Llu and several other guild leaders from both Alliance and Horde side that put together a rather well received RP story arc. Many of those RP guilds made the choice to move on but ALL of them were and will always be team players.

It’s been a long time since I met someone in the way that I met you, that I had nothing but admiration and respect for. I appreciate your candor. That said, I would love more than anything to be able to agree with you but I just can’t. When I get involved with any group I bring my A game.
When we do an event that’s not an RP gathering our events are usually huge, encompassing, and what a lot of bells and whistles to them. I’ve been on and seen alot of RP communities over the years going all the way back to NWN on AOL. I like the server genuinely so. I know some people felt like getting out.
From what I heard this was the second exodus from the server. I’m not leaving, my guilds not leaving, and SOA isn’t leaving. SOA may need more people to grow and that’s ok. I get that. This isn’t the first group like that where I helped it to come together. I loved doing it and I love that I got to enrich the game for others. Even if their are just a few us getting together and doing things, I don’t care. The only thing that matters to me is whether or not we are having fun. You don’t need gobs of people for that.
One final thing. I get that their was alot of good done in the past. That’s really good. That doesn’t give said people the right however to hurt other people. That’s where alot of the sentiments and people feeling burnt about it come in. When I came back I wanted nothing more to see if things had changed, to see if some of the people changed.
That’s part of life, everyone grows, everyone changes. Unfortunately it was the same thing from the same people. Hell I even built SOA as a second chance for said people. Burying the hatchet for the good of the server. It didn’t happen, I doubt it would happen, but if they changed and decided that was the way they wanted to go, I wouldn’t turn them away.
Nobody has suggested that you or your guild leave. I really don’t know you and I would like to think that you genuinely care about ED. As far as I can tell you say you do. The problem is that since you’ve been on these forums posting you just can’t avoid typing paragraphs disparaging other realms. That has never worked.
Giving people who are interested in maybe coming to ED an honest take on the status of ED, especially the RP scene as it pertains to PvP, so that they can make an informed decision works.
Only time will tell if Emerald Dream revives itself again. I think we all hope it does.

Yes I care about the server. I’ve seen plenty, and I prefer ED to all others. Yes I know I can be verbose at times. I like to talk and get to know people. I’m not the only one that brought up other realms. As far as ED reviving itself, we just need to stick together and work as a team. That’s why SOA was made. A place of neutral ground where everyone had say.
If your only reason for posting on the ED forums is to remind people your on WRA or MG, just stop posting on ED forms. Coming here to redirect players off the server just looks bitter and petty.
I play on WRA and ED, both are fine. You can have friends on both and play on both.

There are 1000’s of players on ED who call this realm home. Most of them keep their opinions to themselves. I used to be one of the quiet ones. Being quiet doesn’t help anything.
People come to our forum looking for answers to basic questions about RP. We are an RP realm after all. New players to ED should be curious about how we view RP and PvP here. To be honest we here on Emerald Dream are very weak and have a lot to prove when it comes to RP. To sugarcoat things is a misrepresentation.
ED has been home and will always be home for so many of us. The reality is that it’s the players who ultimately make their own decisions about coming over to our realm and staying or leaving.
