Not something I went after before, so maybe everyone else that wanted it is done and I don’t have to worry? But if I get to the rare and noone is there how long do you all wait? I tag the map and throw a message out but I figure the time it takes me to solo it should be enough to allow anyone who is there to get there right?

I call it out and put the pin in chat. There’s always people who show up in a decent sized group. Then I let them pull it when they’re ready.

I love that you announce it for anyone looking. I usually wait a minute or two, especially if someone says they are on their way.

When I see it, I go to it. Then, I sit and wait for a few mins for people to show up. Once someone goes after it, then I’d go.
HOWEVER…
I got it this morning while mining in Hallowfall, so I don’t need to do it anymore

I’m one of those who rarely catches Beledar via “hey guess what” spawn from rare finder.
I appreciate when other players call out and map pin some of the rare locations.
I did get the Hallowfall renown variant of it though and I’m okay with that.

I usually post the location and then say wait for people. And then tell people to just tag and sit back. Sometimes they listen, sometimes not.
It’s every 3 hours and some people don’t have the map marker. There’s no reason to go ham on it.

Grats!!! Not sure if I will use or not immediately but it does have a good look.
I only went after it once yesterday didn’t pop any offensive CDs and one other person made it when it was around 20%

I would wait no more than 5 minutes before engaging. If I get there though and players are already fighting it, I am doing the same and depending on how fast it’s dying will determine if I announce location or not.
I don’t actively go for that rare though, only if I happen to be in Hallowfall at the change. I have the item that gives me it’s location immediately, so if that happens I’ll announce location as I’m en route.

That’s what I figured to do now that I realized there is an item, if I am screwing around as the time gets close I will hop over there. For example if I am fiddling at the AH or with transmog

It is a single use item, so you’ll have to buy another one if you use it and the mount doesn’t drop. If you have a group of friends you can coordinate taking turns buying one to offset the cost of the item per use.
Hmm did you get it earlier? I wonder if it was changed as I used it once and now my alt can see where he spawned. It isn’t even on the vendor anymore
The mount is also tradable with others of your faction who tagged, I’ve given two away after getting my own.
People who zerg before I get there miss the extra drop chance. 
PS: The item to show the spawn point is permanent and works across your alts. Can confirm.

No it isn’t. Buy once on your account and it will always show the spawn on all of your alts.
How do I know this? I purchased this a long time ago now on this character.
I was in Hallowfall on my Monk just the other day, fairly fresh 80 off to do some Delves and Beledar spawned, icon was on my map immediately.

I didn’t see the spawn the second time I went searching for him after using the item. I will have to check it out. If it’s true I thank you for the correction.

I say screw people. I ask for a pin and get twenty people telling me to use the toy.
I cant play every day. I have a family and a job. There are times I pay for a month and log less than 3 hours. So I don’t have max reps.
So if you see that mob, don’t say anything and smash it as fast as possible. I’m going to.
