[Ethhy] WoW lag

Massive lag happens to me. I’ve run Speedtests, had Xfinity check my modem, nothing. Only WoW lags. Here’s my results

Howdy Ethhy,

I moved your post to a separate thread so we can focus on your issue specifically. I looked over the network test and didn’t see any serious problems. Would you be able to check the in-game latency meter (the red question mark in the action bar in WoW) and see what the FPS and latency is when this happens?

Sorry for the late response, work was killing me this week.
My FPS was somewhere around 40-60 FPS, and the MS for both World and Home were in the 200’s and higher. Of course, I ran into the previous thread, followed instructions and shortly after posting my lag seemed to go away. I’ll have to repost when the issue occurs again.

Hey there,

I noticed the packet count dropped from 651 to 635 when moving through the comcast network. I have seen some users get around similar issues using a vpn or proxy service but that isn’t something we can directly support since those are products of another company. That is also only a way around the issue not a true fix.

The best solution would be to reach out to Comcast and report the issue. If possible please provide them with this test so they may also review the issue.

Hope the info helps. Thank you for working with us on this!
