As has become tradition, there is a permanent augment rune coming in the last patch of the expansion. The Ethereal Augment Rune is unlocked at Renown 18 with the outdoor zone rep. It is 100k gold, just like in DF. And just like in all pre-warband expansions, every character that wants this bonus, needs to shell out the full price.
Blizz, my feedback on this is that the warband expansion is the perfect time to make an improvement on this system. I would prefer if this item becomes a toy that the warband can all use, but if you feel that is too generous, then at least make further purchases after the first one be heavily discounted. TWW brought in so many alt friendly systems, let’s add this to the list.
