SO I was looking at the quests my DK has, trying to get rid of old quests. I saw this on there with a 17/40 count. Is it still possible for me to finish that quest, somewhere?
Yes.
Go kill mobs in Zandalar/Kul tiras to get the items. When complete, summon the ensorcelled everwyrm and click the orb on it behind where the character sits to spawn the NPC to turn it in.
Its fine if I don’t have the mount and find someone who does, right? Any suggestions of a good place to farm for it, with fast spawns?
Yep, you can borrow someone else’s amount to complete the quest. For best places to Farm it, best to probably check Wowhead, my ability to find information from so long ago is kind of limited on my phone.

From what I recall, there is a limit to the number of those items you can collect daily.
yea, farmed for an hour only got an initial 4. That sucks. I had 17/40 when I noticed I still had the quest. This is going to take forever.
I dont think it is a hard llmit. Iirc, I could get like 6 or so daily before rates fell off. Drop rates would decrease and it would take a lot longer to see a single one drop.
I remember back in the day I went after them in that one spot with the blood trolls attacking, up in north Zuldazar.
Managed to do it pretty quick, but has to be BFA mobs
