Has there been any word on an eternal server? I’ve been debating between sod and wotlk, sod community is amazing and it’s fun but worried to lose all progress when I’m pretty casual. Alternatively wrath is fun, but the community is less inviting and servers are all 90% one faction.
Fairly certain during the P2 dev interview there is confirmation that these characters would stay, not return to a classic era server, but have to be transferred to something of their own when they did end the season. They did not state when the SoD era season would end since it is seasonal. So this could be a long ride for maybe even an expansion, extra additional content release patches that were not done before, or at the end of the vanilla wow phases we get send to standard and they try something new.
Who knows, but enjoy the ride, you still have at least a minimum of a year left.

Hopefully SoD turns into some kind of classic+ and they build it up and make it what it’s supposed to be. Hopefully, being the key word.
