When only 2 servers have ally outnumbering horde there are some very delusional horde thinking battle groups are going to make it so they don’t have long ques. I’m thinking even during off hours the shortest ques they will see is 8 minutes and the longest will be 15-20 minutes. Anyone else have some thought on how long they think ques will be for horde?
3-20 minutes im betting depending on day of the week and time of day.
I think we won’t really know until the 10th rolls around, and it’ll be largely dependent upon the battlegroups. And what we get on the 10th will probably be fairly different from a few weeks from then.
5:36 min. Give or take. Also baseless, but all other post will be.
Blizz has said in a blue post that BGs will be cross server. With that information combined with server populations currently, I’d wager that BG queues won’t be that bad. At first I thought BG queues would be horrendous for horde but then I remembered cross server BGs would be a thing.
Title says Estimated. Doesnt have to be based on fact. Just perception.
Sry! I didn’t want it to be a response to you, It was a misclick.
5 minutes max with the server pops the way they are.
All good my friend!
Estimates are based off historical data. Data are facts. What you’re saying is a guess and not an estimate.
Estimated horde BG what?
30m ill say maybe 45 at the max im going to just do av for the honor and rep.then you leave an av and go into the 30 other avs that are going.
getting honor in wsg would be slow compared to av.
Will heavily depend on battlegroups. If they kept pvp servers with pvp servers, and pve with pve which is what should happen- then expect mild queues for alliance on pve realms, heavily horde queues on pvp realms.
As they’ll likely be mixing and matching, and considering this is one thing that can cause Horde distress there’s little doubt Blizzard will actually put thought into balancing the battlegroups- I doubt we’ll see Horde queues longer than a half hour.
12+ minutes average queue for max level bgs
Final guess.
My guess is it starts off somewhat acceptable from 7-14 minutes, then progressively gets worse as more PvE realm alliance finish their goals and drop BGs entirely.
Two months in, the real horror stories are gonna start for any BG not named AV.
Bob, I’m going to say 5:37.

First week, lots of hype, lots of Alliance queuing just cause. - 5 minute horde wait time.
Every week after, queue times rise until eventually they peak and hold steady somewhere in the 30-45 minute range.
That is my guess.
It´s very hard to tell.
In Vanilla one of my realms had between 0-10, another between 30 and 60 minutes. Both queues changed dramatically to the worse, once crossrealm BG´s became a thing.
There are a lot more things in the mix, than just numbers from third party trackers. You can´t know how many actually care about pvp, how the various level brackets will look like and if people are bothered by premades and therefore stop queueing.
A short queue can also be a disadvantage, as it´s more likely to end up in a already started BG.
Your best bet is to have a few chars and then play what works best. That´s what I will do, play the char that I can.
Well server I’m on is pretty alliance heavy. So I hope my queue’s are fairly short.
Unlikely. They are likely to bundle all servers together into a single cluster for matchmaking. This will mean that like retail, Horde queue times will be far longer than Alliance. Unlike retail, classic will not have Merc mode to keep it in check at all.
