If in 9.2 I wanted to pickup say Jewelcrafting and get it to SL 100/100, how much gold would it cost to get the Legendary from 190 to 291?
Is it like 250,000g? 1milg? 10milg?

Depends on the mat cost of your server. Goes into a million +.
Nothing less to go from base rank to the newest rank.
your price will vary drastically based on server.
Could be about 500g (for the vendor pieces, I don’t know how many settings it takes to level the base pieces) if you went out and farmed your own materials.
Legendary Crafting XP
Every Legendary base item has four ranks that require increasingly large amounts of materials to create. In addition, you need to develop crafting experience for each item to make the next highest ranked item! (In other words, crafting Legendary gloves doesn’t give you experience toward creating Legendary shoulders).
Each Legendary base item you can make will have its own “experience” bar. To graduate from making Rank 1 to Rank 2 items, you need to earn 75 crafting experience to make the Rank 2 version, and you earn 5 crafting XP per Rank 1 item. Therefore, you will need to create 15 Rank 1 versions of a single item to be able to make Rank 2.
Rank 5 and Rank 6 items are created by combining Rank 3 and 4 items with the optional reagent Vestige of Origins. See the section on Optional Reagents for more information on crafting this Optional Reagent.

I did the math and if farm for mats and only buy regiments. It cost you 5.550 million. that because of how expensive some regiments are and the amount needed.

The vendor mats to max 1 type of item run over 100k

I think tier 4 pieces cost at least a few thousand minimum in vendor materials.
But ranking up requires making a ton of rank 1-3 items and the quantity of vendor mats needed goes up with each rank. I think you need 15 of each rank to level up.
Plus all the crafting to get to 100 takes a bunch of vendor materials for most, if not all, professions.
I don’t know the JC costs off the top, but it cost me a ton of gold just getting rank 4 on a single LW item.

probably over a million - you are really best finding someone to make it for you.
The only time it was worth ranking most of those was up to 4 months after Shadowlands hit although the JC probably had a longer period of profitability.
You did the math wrong for 1 base item type your looking at 200-400k to get to rank4
prove your math then. This is based on the cost to regiments. Making one item cost 50k. You only get 5 points. It takes 15 makes. Ect as ranks go up so do the requirements. Use your head for once and stop it!

I leveled the mail boot last week for about 250K, bought most of the mats. Also leveled cloth waist for just under that. Both from scratch to 291.
Just no… so wrong.

It’s 4-500k per rank 4 you level. That’s with some material buying and some farming. The vendor cost of oboreal shards and other things is stupid. The other stuff I am ok with but the vendor items are to expensive.
Like I said, depends on server, but you seem to not be able to read.

This coming from someone who leveled lots of 'em in SL and followed other gold makers who leveled them. It’s not 200k across the board jeeves.
well good to know cheap to make mail and cloth I hope. You like most did not explain how you came about this figure. as regiments are too exspensive and take on averge 10 to 20 per item. right now I was talking about plates and jewelry. It takes more as you level up.
