Blizzard, you are the brightest part of our life for us essential workers, we are forced to work in workplaces full of 10%-60% of the people in the workplace get covid19 confirmed ppl such as my workplace, in order to ship stuff like candy and toys and whatever amazon ppl order. I hope you know that you are essensial as well because with the way our places treat us like expendable lives. Your worlds and games help us endure. I hope i survive till shadowlands is out, may not be likely since a big wave of more confirmed cases was outbreaked at our warehouse. We get fired for not coming in and we do not get any unemployment benefits or anything as our company fights to resist of in any help. Anyways, I hope all of you at blizzard realsie how essential you are, more essential than churches and such for keeping our sanity because not everyone believes in a religon but your worlds unite people no matter what race or working class or religion people are. Another sad thing is the news, local or big, refuses to post about the cases at our warehouse because, the same day covid19 who refuse to wear masks while working are coughing all over the thousands of boxes a day… we deliver to your doorstep the same day, this is the final warehouse it goes thru before it reaches your doorstep, i dread knowing how many customers contracted covid19 from touching the boxes from our warehouse
there was even pics of amazon flex drivers getting their kids deliver the boxes with no gloves or mask from their personal car to your doorsteps, so flex drivers are also at risk.
If i die before Shadowlands release due to contracting covid19 I’d be a vengeful ghost, more than sylvannas for sure.

Amazon is basically slave labor.

Unless they play the other faction, eh?

If only there was a politician who actively rails against Amazon and other corporations for their mistreatment of employees.
I’m sure he wouldn’t get slandered or held back by the status quo at all.

There’s a lot someone could rail against that would end up getting them assassinated.

Feel bad for amazon employees. News of outbreaks at their warehouses all over. Employee abuse if you ask me.

this is horrid, I don’t work for amazon but I had 3 friends who worked in 3 different amazon warehouses in southern California and now r.i.p. when they died from it, their job didn’t acknowledge and fired one of their girlfriends for putting up a memorial in front of the job even tho they got the disease at the job and died from it. The company did not help the families whatsoever, they did not even get the 2 weeks sick pay because the policy is after the 2 weeks you must come back to work to get paid so if u die u get nothing, your family gets nothing and it is also dangerous because it does not matter if you still have covid19 after the 2 weeks you are sent home, you are forced to come back after the 2 weeks, and your able to come back as long as you don’t happen to have a fever of the time you enter the building, but having covid19 the fevers randomly spike they do not stay there 24/7…

We are not military, we did not sign up to risk our lives. Or else we would have joined the military. BTW if you contract covid19, you are banned from any form of military for life. For Amazon, 2 weeks with it and your are required to go back.

To be fair, you’ll likely be fine if you get it. It’s only the elderly or others with respiratory/immune problems to start with that are really at risk. You’ll just get a really nasty flu and will hate life for a few days.
But yes, none of us want to risk getting it at all. I sure don’t, and yet, have done so every day since this thing started.
Oh just what businesses need, more government control. Because government control is such a good thing.

What’s really concerning to me is that some people are making more money while furloughed than they were while working. Many don’t want to begin working again.

Nope, me and my entire family are high risk, born with a heart defect, asthma, high blood pressure, african america + night shift, doctor said im x5 times below the low amount of vitamin D due to race and overnight shift, crammed in a car of 5 ppl daily on the road 6 hours a day just to get to work plus the job scattered our shifts by last name and does not give a hell that thats increasing our risk of getting it from 3 different groups of shifts plus with that added time difference, we are lucky to even get 4-5 hours of sleep per day.
and at @ohgodmyeyez
extactly, even unemployed here in cali, ppl are getting more money than amazon pays but if you are fired from amazon or quit you are not eligible UI for bassically even the part time UI seems to not make u eligible for unemployment because amazon fights trongly to not let any workers get aproved when EDD contacts them because that makes the company look bad that workers still need UI while working there just to afford to live. Ive tried to apply right when covid19 was affecting the ability to get to work since the workplace is the border of los angeles county and san bernardino its a struggle to get to work with the lockdown and get supplies to be able to work but ive not heard back from UI edd email/phone/site ect no reply, call hundred of times its automated and hangs up as well. If me or a family member obtains covid19 we all die garenteed with our risk and yet this company will fight against you even having a chance to survive without them.

Not to sound like a you know, how do you even know? Are you a doctor or scientist that’s monitored and studied this virus and how it effects certain populations?

I’m making about the same and honestly as much as I no longer like my job I would rather go back for a time then look for another when things start going back to normal
