I’m good. You stated you unsub when you can’t fly. That’s all i needed. You’ve shown time and time again you’re selfish and dont truly care for the future of this game. You argue with literally everyone in this forum defending something that should be BOA and protect other BOA systems that shouldnt be BOA. You are inconsistent, just like blizzard, and its sad to see that because of that this games future is grim.

Everyone knows /played metrics can be a lot higher if the game was alt friendly.

Maybe if SOME BLIZZARD EMPLOYEE!!! would come into this thread…just maybe… they would learn. Or you know… just play the game you develop… thats another way.
Except this isn’t really a thing… You’ve basically caught up to start of the season. Still a long ways to go and gearing with RNG will make getting anywhere near bis will take forever.
Additionally with how impactful corruption is and how rare it is you’re going to be hunting for the rest of the expansion. An extra minus is the guaranteed corruption you miss out on the chest every week and there is no way to get that back for returning/newbies.
Zero reason to make people regrind essences a hundred times.
They can get it though. Nothing is stopping them. People just don’t want to put in the work in an mmo to get what they want and think everything should be account bound. People seriously have no clue how mmos work and how difficult it is to keep people playing. “Hey, let’s just let everyone have account bound stuff so they can have alts maxed out like their mains doing no work except leveling so they can just complain about being bored and likely unsubbing until more content.”

Yeah, I’ve been trying to get him to say whether or not he actually enjoys it. Shouldn’t be a hard question to answer.
The closest I got was him telling me to unsub if I didn’t like it.
Consider the following: rank 4 essences are the only cosmetic in the game that isn’t account bound.

No we want gear to be the character gear progression thing again. Not endless throw away systems.
MMOs have been historically a gear grind… Do you know what MMOs are?

Oh, gear only progressions. So the easiest system in WoW where you can hit max level in quest reward gear to heroic raiding ilvl gear in a matter of days (maybe a couple of weeks).
Yes, back in the day. You know, in Vanilla and BC. Wrath started the easy purples and we are now in a place where insane ilvl gear falls from the sky doing almost nothing.
The stuff you actually have to put work into you want unlocked for all your toons. So yeah, free handouts and not putting any work into getting what you want.

Less hardcore players will never understand how hard it is to min-max both AOE and ST sets with the correct corruption and obtaining sockets for all of them. There is plenty of content in the game to keep people playing while making essences BOA. Players just complain so much about how little content there is and blizzard feels the need to put these rental systems to keep people entertained. While in reality, its just ruining the game.

Not really, no.
He wants you to assume that because he’s playing it means he’s for the system. Never gives definitive answers. That’s how he tries to win arguments.
The quantity of wow players has gone down since late wrath. When they started adding the qol features.
By that logic, we should go back to vanilla. No qol, no catchup, nothing.
I’ll be fine with that. Because it’s consistent. Making rental systems BOA makes more sense than making permanent systems BOA. Do we agree on that?

None of these decisions will be consistent. They will all be a compromise between the many, varying groups that play this game. Blizzard will decide where the lines are, play or don’t.
But don’t pretend what personally want represents anything other than your personal desire.
No. Because “rental systems” is a buzz term a streamer came up with to entice views/ clicks.
By that definition, everything is rental. Gear, levels, all of it. It all gets washed away the next patch or xpac.
