I unlocked the Ratts’ Revenge scenario a little bit ago and the thing that immediately struck me was how different it was for World of Warcraft, but it reminded me of the mysterious air the game had when it was new.
I quickly gave up on Ratts’ Revenge for the time being because it’s an ARG, the sort of thing I have to wait for other people to solve for me because there’s no way I can ever contribute to that.
A note in the scenario mentioning Escape Rooms got me thinking, though. I would totally enjoy World of Warcraft occasionally adding small puzzle scenarios, assuming they were designed more like Escape Simulator and designed for the average person to be able to solve on their own.
Obviously a lot of people would just look up the solutions, especially if they had really good rewards, but I’m not expecting anything major. Just another small little PvE content option, and it seems like there’s a dev who’d love to do that.
