In The Burning Crusade Classic, I was questing with a group of 3 people (including me) and Earthmender Wilda was almost out of the cavern when she stopped moving after combat, moving back to the same spot after combat would end again, and again, and again until we eventually failed the quest, where she simply despawned and that was that.

Just had this issue, wow is it annoying. It’s like a 30 mins quest to begin with
Same experience. Got near end of the quest, an assassin attacked, she said the thankyou message, but then stood there and the quest never completed.
Just got this bug tonight, same circumstances. Not sure what caused it but NPC just stays stuck near the entrance of the cave. Also she is very durable and has not been killed after being stuck, making the quest inaccessible for anyone else as well.
Been over a year now, but this is still an issue. Trying to do every quest before Wrath launches, and this one is not completable. NPC just stopped walking partway through, occasionally does her dialog, and spawns assassins. Will not progress forward along the escort.

Still a bug.
Got right to where the quest finishes and after the assassin attacked she started her dialoge before the quest started (upon being freed from the water orb).
A DK was able to come to her and grab the quest, while she was 10 steps from the finish but it was bugged so nothing happened for them.
