So with news of solo BfA islands queues and even the potential solo warfronts, how are Legion invasion scenarios still requiring 3 players??? These should have been switched to solo queue ages ago. What’s going on?

cant you already solo them? i havent did none since legion or is the scaling screwed?
They have a hard time embracing this concept.

Last I checked, you can’t enter the scenario without being in a group of 3 players. I’m sure you could solo them, even with the scaling, but you can’t start one solo.

oh thats quite dumb fix it then blizz easy fix to keep people entertained.
I’ve never had an issue with the invasions. The queue pops almost instantly. I’m guessing it’s because they are still a good source of xp(?) and people are going back to finish their class hall for the mounts on new characters.
Yeah me either, so I never noticed a problem. But yeah, if you need 3 then Blizz should fix it with everything else.
I just did one recently, and it didn’t take that long for the queue. Maybe I just got lucky, but I noticed that the other two people in it with me were also level 60, which surprised me.
At the very least, as long as every level is in the same queue, this probably doesn’t take too long.
On the other hand, I waited about 2 1/2 hours for a Warfront queue at level 60 the other week as I tried to finish off an achievement.
They still haven’t made it so I can actually get a group to do an invasion world boss on a sub-50 so this doesn’t surprise me at all.

It is a multiplayer game…
A multiplayer game with almost 10 expansions and a player base that prefers to play the most recent expansion instead of old content. They reduced the number of players required to queue pandaria scenarios, islands expeditions and legacy raids for a reason.
If every single expansion were relevant I’d say “get a group lul” but that is not how it works.

You can definitely solo queue them. I did it on my Vulpera for his balance of power quest line.
The reason why people still do them at max level is because there are actually a number of extremely rare legion invasion assault weapon mogs that have a small chance to drop from the last boss of the scenarios. You cannot find these mogs anywhere else in the game. I’ve managed to only acquire a couple of them.
