I am getting this error code when trying to update WoW retail. I have tried scan and repair, and completely uninstalling. This error happened when downloading patch files, and now when downloading the entire fresh client.
Any suggestions?

This can often be caused by security programs but if you haven’t already, restarting the computer can sometimes help. If not, then add the Blizzard app as an exception. If that doesn’t help, then try disabling or temporarily uninstalling any security software to test the update. You can always reinstall the security software again afterwards.
I thought I had restarted, but restarting it THIS time worked. The Blizzard Blessing?

For more information on why this is happening, often this error is due to WoWVoiceProxy getting stuck open. This thread has more info on some other ways to prevent it, and why restarts don’t always work. Thanks for following up either way Melaesia!
