Error Code BLZ51901016

I’ve been playing without any difficulties whatsoever for months now. Lately – as in the last two or three days – I’ve been getting disconnected after only a few minutes. When I’m kicked back to the log-in screen, I get the error code above.

So far as I know, nothing has changed on my computer. I haven’t added any new programs or changed my set-up, which is why this new behavior is so frustrating.

Any help toward correcting the matter would be appreciated.

I have been having similar disconnection for for sometime now. I am trying to find any common element between our setup.

Continuous Lag-Spike/Crash

Hey there,

Generally when you suddenly start getting frequent disconnects, and nothing that you know of has changed with your PC or home network, it can indicate there’s a new issue occurring between your ISP and the game servers.

The best way to determine if there are issues along the connection path is to run a WinMTR test in the background as you play and experience the disconnects.

  1. Download WinMTR
  2. Right-click on the downloaded .zip folder and select “Extract All”, to extract the files to a new folder.
  3. Open the new folder that was created, then open the WinMTR_x32 folder.
  4. Right-click on the WinMTR application and select “Run as administrator”.
  5. Type the IP address 24.105.62.129 in the “Host” field.
  6. Click on “Start” and then launch the game. Allow the test to run for at least 10 minutes. Click on “Stop” when you’re done playing after you have experienced the latency or connection issue.
  7. Click on “Export TEXT” to save the results as a text document, then post the results.

I will do this sometime tomorrow. With luck, it will reveal the nature of the problem.

i turned off my firewall
re-installed it to drive c
checked my drivers and all PC set up

and its still same ERROR [BLZ51901016]

Since this morning, I’ve had no issues whatsoever. The problem seems to have disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared, which makes me think that the problem must have been with my ISP.

I’ll keep an eye on it the next few days and, if the error recurs, I’ll go ahead and use WinMTR and post the results here.
