Make sure you have any overlays turned completely off and test. This means Discord, nVidia, Razer, any overlays.

So I’m just supposed to play without discord, nVidia, Razer and whatever else everytime I play wow? That’s insane. I use discord for pvp and raids.

You still can, just turn the overlay off.

Okay. I turned discord overlay off. I’ll see if it crashes again. It does it so randomly.

I’ve had this issues for days now that I have gotten a new prebuilt PC with Windows 10. Every game except this one seems to work just fine. I’ve tried SO many of the options to fix the issue. I’ve updated my drives, turned off addons, changed administors access. I don’t know what else to do and I’m almost at the point of giving up… here is the error code from the error folder and the message that pops up when it happens

if this isn’t a sign to stop playing this junk, what is

You only need the one thread for this topic, not 2 that are both at the top of this forum.

Sorry, nothing anyone is saying is helping yet so I thought I’d make a more detailed post. Still not getting anything though.

Error 132 is generic and can be hard to pin down.

First thing I would try is a full ui reset. Especially if you copied things over from an old install. Disabling add-ons is not the same. Fortunately, if this doesn’t work, you can just put back the copies of the folders if you rename them instead of delete them. Here are instructions. https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/7549#:~:text=In%20the%20Blizzard%20Battle.net,World%20of%20Warcraft®%20folder.&text=Rename%20the%20Cache%2C%20Interface%2C%20and,the%20changes%20can%20take%20effect

If that doesn’t help I would post a dxdiag, instructions here, https://us.battle.net/support/en/article/12988 highlight the entire thing and hit the </> button at the top of the reply box to make it more readable. Alternately you can post it on pastebin and just give us the letters at the end of the link

Just due to the amount of addons in that error log, I highly recommend the UI reset Tofflemire mentioned. In the future, please don’t make duplicate threads. Not only does it make it harder to help you, it’s not allowed in the forum. If you find you have a thread that goes unanswered, you can use the ticket system. Staff reads most threads, but not all.

I apologize for the double post. This error has made me a bit anxious and upset seeing as I got a new pc mostly to play this game and now I’m spending most of my days sitting here trying to fix it. I’m attempting the UI reset now. Will I be able to use addons if this works? The game will play for a bit but then randomly hit me with the error so it’s not a quick “find” if it’s wrong. Which means bumbling around without my addons doing mostly nothing lol.

The UI reset didn’t work. Here is the Dxdiag from pastebin

The latest error report of yours still has the discord DLL hooked into the wow process. Are you sure you turned the discord overlay off ?

I disabled it after I originally posted that error. Heres’ the last error message I just got using pastebin.

For future reference - if the UI reset did fix it, you can still use add-ons, but one of your saved settings, or add-ons themselves, would be a problem. Typically it’s a corrupt setting, so installing them from scratch will usually solve it, but if not you’d have to track down the issue by installing and testing each one.

In your case it doesn’t look like that helped. I’d post a dxdiag.

Have you renamed the addon folder instead of disabling them in-game?

Are you sure the GPU drivers are up-to-date via GeForce experience? Do you have any security software limiting access to anything?

Also note, not all addons are optimized for the latest patch. Checking that is up to you when you install them from your addon repository of choice.

I also just checked again on my GPU driver with GeForce and updated everything again and the game still crashed. This time faster than ever. same error too.

This is not the current driver, it’s almost 6 months out of date. There’s also a crash for the GPU in the DxDiag (shown above). Use Display Driver Uninstaller to remove all drivers, then reinstall the GPU driver.

These errors are a bit more concerning. There is no official support for Blue Screens (not all blue screen errors result in system crashes) on these forums because they indicate a system-level problem. It can be overclocks (usually), drivers, peripherals, or other hardware issues. However, they have some tips to help you if the driver reinstall doesn’t do it:

If you exhaust all of these things without improvement, I recommend consulting the company you bought the computer from, or a PC technician if the former isn’t an option.

Agree with elocin. You’re getting a likely video card crash and blue screen crashes. Re-installing the latest drivers with DDU may fix it, but it may also be a hardware problem. You can try troubleshooting that on your own but you might need to reach out to a microsoft help board. Sometimes video cards come overclocked stock and tuning them down a little will fix things up. But if this is a brand new machine it might be worthwhile to just have the company take a look instead of spending your time tracking down what might be bad hardware that you just bought new.

So I’ve done quite a bit today in hopes of fixing this. Here is my latest error code from the crash
