I’ve tried everything to try and fix it. I had the same issue when 8.1 came out. But that time it was the registry being messed up. Did a scan again and it won’t show any issues. I used Malwarebytes btw. It flat out won’t let me log in. I let the error stay up and it won’t let me log in. The error appears at start-up. I’m not the administrator of the computer due to my Mom being the Administrator of it. So I can’t update the drivers to see if that’s it. I haven’t been able to play since 8.1.5 dropped. So Blizzard what else could it be? I reinstalled it completely, deleted the WTF, Cache, and Interface folders, put it into Windows 7 compatibility mode, and basically everything BUT update the drivers. Due to my Mom not getting up and updating it I’ve been asking her to check if they are up to date since 8.1.5 dropped…
Also it says that it can’t access the files or something like that. Even on my Mom’s account of the computer.
Btw this is the same person. Just didn’t change my character lol
Hi Tyraeis
Let’s take a look a this error. Can you paste the most recent entire error. It will be found in the Main Wow folder > Retail folder > Errors folder. It is a long wall of text. If you have issues pasting on the forum here go ahead and put it up on pastebin.com
(provide the code from the pastebin link - the green bold portion of this example:
Hello Tyraeís ![]()
In addition to providing the error log that Tratt mentioned, I wanted to note that the majority of Error #132s I’ve seen since patch 8.1.5 dropped have been due to video drivers or operating system (or both) being out of date. So it may be necessary to get the drivers updated with the aid of your mom’s admin privileges.
Let’s see if you can get a DXDIAG report, which will show us exactly what your OS and driver versions are.
You can include the DXDIAG in a reply to the forum post. Place it between rows of ticks (`) for formatting:

Alright I posted it and I can post the MSInfo soon if you want that too
i am having the same exact error "ERROR #132 (0x85100084) fatal exception
instruction at “0x00007ffc36f7c57f” referenced memory at “0xfffffffffffffffff”
the memory could not be read.
I get them almost as soon as I log in to a character
Going to attempt to load BNet in beta mode to see if that’ll make it work for now
Heya Sydreia,
I checked out your system files, and I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news. If the game doesn’t run in DirectX11 Legacy on this machine, it’s unlikely it’s going to run at all. This machine’s graphics card and CPU haven’t been supported to play the game for years now, and with the new updates with 8.1.5 it’s finally hit the point where it’s unlikely to work anymore. For reference, here’s the current system requirements.
If you’d like to try one more thing you can try updating your graphics drivers. Beyond that, you’ll need to upgrade to a supported computer to receive more support from us at Blizzard.
