Error 132 need help

Ever since the update, I’ve been getting this error:

"This application has encountered a critical error:

ERROR #132 (0x85100084) Fatal exception!

Program: C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft_retail_\Wow.exe
ProcessID: 14208
Exception: ACCESS_VIOLATION

The instruction at “0x0000000000000000” referenced memory at “0x0000000000000000”.
The memory could not be “executed”."

I’ve done some troubleshooting already, and have located what I think to be the problem. When I have DBM instatlled, I get the error; when I don’t, I don’t get the error. I have the latest drivers and windows update, and it still happens. I’d like to know if anyone else has this issue with dbm and how they’ve fixed it.
I’ve tried the alpha build of dbm and it does the same thing. If you’d like the entire log, let me know how to post it.

EDIT: It wasn’t dbm, as it’s been happening the last 10 times I’ve tried without it installed.

EDIT 2: Disabling addons in the character select screen lets me load in, and enabling them all while on the character lets me have addons without crashing. It’s a workaround, but I’d rather not have to do this in the first place. Any help is appreciated.

try go to " C:\Program Files (x86)\World of Warcraft\World of Warcraft_retail_" > right click in wow.exe and set windows 8 compatibility. pd: my grammar english is bad

no luck with your advice sorry, same problem as OP

Any other suggestions from this thread? Deleting my ADDON folder did not fix

can you please post the complete error it will be a wall of text

Please help! =(

Same issue. Was/is Details.
Took it out and using Skada for now.
Was able to play just fine. Hope your fix is as easy.
Also, if that is not it, in your wow folders look at the last error log in the error folder, scroll down a bit, showed me mine was indeed Details.

TY my friend,

Managed to fix it by deleting Addon/Interface/WTF & full repair, but seems OK now

=)

Seems like you then have to add everything back. I changed the name of my addon folder, then got in game, another was made, re installed details, it was the only add on, same issue error 132.
Renamed my add on folder got Skada and done.

The ful error crashes my browser. I fixed the problem, though. Deleting cache and WTF folders solved it.

For me, the addon Details! was the villain causing memory leak/Error 132.
Delete the addon + Cache folder and try alternative meters like Recount and Skada 'til they fix it.
Do not delete your WTF folder without doing manual backup of macros + addon settings like ELVUI profiles and WeakAuras.
