i updated my windows driver to

i uninstalled the windows update and is fixed, ive never had any issues
i have a RTX 3090 and I9 10900k

i dont think is a good solution that i cant update drivers or game crushes, anything i can do ?

any idea anyone?

How are you updating your Nvidia drivers?

they are on the latest update 516.94 and i always do clean install

I’m having the same issue as you.

I haven’t been able to find a fix yet, reached out to NVIDIA, was with their customer support for like 30 minutes, followed all their steps, and still got the error message.

Define clean install. DDU?
Also, have you tried to roll back one driver?

Looks like a bios update has fixed this problem for me… so far. Would strongly recommend doing so, if you’re comfortable with it.

yes ddu clean install, is not nvidia, is the windows update that is doing it, i uninstalled the windows and is fine, i reinstall it and i get the error,

10-4. I don’t have a 3090, just an old 2080 TI. And I’m on the latest Windows 10 build KB5016616 which is one newer than what you tried to install. Is that update available?

Never let Windows handle your drivers, always use the manufacturer’s tools to download the latest version.

Are you still experiencing issues? An access violation is usually related to drive permissions or RAM, not the GPU.

Has anyone gotten an answer to this issue? I am getting this as well. I have gone through everything that Blizz has suggested to check/change (to include updating bios) and still get the error.
