Hoping to find an answer here…
On March 16th, I tried to log in per my usual routine and was faced with the above-captioned error. I ran through the battle.net listed troubleshooting and was able to get into the game but at unplayable (1-3 fps) framerates. I have tried the following:
- clearing the WTF, Cache, Interface folders
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling BNet
- Uninstalling and Reinstalling WoW
- Clearing space on my computer
- updating my NVidia Drivers, AND rolling back my Nvidia drivers.
- Running the Scan/Repair feature on Bnet
- Uninstalling all addons and addon managers for possible corruption
- Lowering all graphics settings to the lowest possible range
- Upgrading windows from 8.1 to a newer version 10 or 11 ( to no avail)
I am at a complete loss at this point… i could run the game on March 15th at my computer’s recommended “5” graphic settings in-game and at ~60fps consistently. I have no clue what i have done differently…
