If you /whisper a player who’s character name matches their Battlenet tag, it sometimes gets sent as a Battlenet message instead. This results in the message being sent as a bright blue message in game, and if you aren’t Battlenet friends, it gets received as a Battlenet message with no name attached or doesn’t appear for the receiver at all.
