The GM who took the support ticket sent the link to post it there… Incompetent support.

Hey Blizzard, please fix this situation. It was clearly a bug that prevented the said loot, Legging of Polarity from being lootable and being able to be deposited to the Loot Master for distribution. As soon as the boss was down, many people in raid said “Oh, Legging of Polarity!” This was clearly audible in the stream for the Naxx. Again, Loot Master was NOT able to loot the item because of a bug that prevented him from looting, not because of his oversight or an act by any of the other raids in raid. One of our raiders went back to Naxx soonafter the raid had ended and found that the corpse of Thaddius despawned in under 2 hours.
One of the GM’s did respond to our LM confirming that there was a bug here but stated that he was able to fix the situation due to fear of “potentially making it worse”, which made zero sense. We are simply asking the GM to return the item that should’ve been lootable to its rightful owner, not asking to make any other changes.
Classic Era is a small niche community that truly enjoys the game, in a world with no gold selling or third-party paid boosting. Please rectify this situation and do it right by your loyal and passionate customers.

It’s very concerning the Game Master in question chose to only deflect the issue to a bug report - where has the quality level of customer service that long standing World of Warcraft players became so accustomed to gone?
Of course this is a bug and should be reported as such through the correct channels, but I have a hard time accepting that Game Masters are nowadays paid only to prevent tickets being escalated to such a point that legitimate issues are discarded completely by the first touch and sometimes even second and third touch Customer Service Representatives as per several examples experienced by myself and many other players I have spoken with.
Self service tools are great for simple tickets, but when very legitimate issues need appropriately trained customer service personnel to take them seriously that is clearly not happening as often as it should - this breeds animosity for such a hierarchy that exacerbates pain points and greatly diminishes the game’s reputation as well as what remains of its loyal fanbase.
tl;dr =
Please invest more in your customer-facing service agencies, with more customer-oriented incentivization and a required level of reading comprehension from any outsourced customer facing staff. This has gotten way out of hand.

This whole thing here thats trying to be a customer service is anything but customer service. Microsoft, please fix this embarrasing situation for your company. This is a known bug since long and this staff working for you are not solving this issue.
