[Era] Paladin T3 6pc bonus stacking -- Intended?

It’s looking like the Paladin 6pc bonus, Holy Power, is stacking when applied by multiple Paladins. We noticed this after our main warrior tank had a bunch of buffs knocked off when he got several stacks at the start of the fight. We did some testing to confirm that this does indeed happen and that the effects stack.

While this is pretty exciting for our Prot Paladin tank (28 mp5/stack, lol), we aren’t actually sure if this is intended behaviour.

Is anybody able to weigh in on this?

I bet the rogues wish the buff was on our crit and lasted a min and stacked, because that would be wild. I haven’t tried to stack it on a rogue / hunter… Tho curious if it gives range attack power.

They definitely messed with the spell(s) for SoD, as it now (in SoD) does a role/spec/form check on every player it procs on. i.e. it gives Feral Druids and Ret Paladins physical DPS stats but Resto Druids and Holy Paladins caster stats. I would not be surprised at all if they changed coding that also affected Era.

Oh, that’s really interesting, thank you for posting! I know it’s supposed to be on a per-class basis, not a per-spec basis, in the Vanilla version of the game. I’ll ask my guildmates to help test this out and post back, that could certainly shed some additional light on things.

For SoD, I’d imagine it stacks too, though since there’s no buff cap there it’s probably not as damaging.

T3 2PC set is now fixed; has been for a week I think.

I have not heard anything back on Seal of Command but still getting no better than 6PPM on my character but perhaps its my character?

Did you mean the 6 piece? I wasn’t aware of an issue with the 2 piece, it’s the 6 piece thats broken, where it proc’s holy power, each paladin can proc it resulting in 4-5 extra buffs. While this isn’t an issue on Fresh, this can easily cause problems with the buff caps on ERA. Probably good to test again, though it was still broken the last time we tested.

Following up on this, someone did a quick test and it seemed like we got the same buff regardless of how the target player’s talent points were distributed. So it looks like that SoD change, at least, isn’t in Era.

At this point though, I’m not even sure if this is broken. Like, did it always work this way or is this a bug? I’m not sure there’s even a [legitimate] way for us, the players, to test this…

Oh oopppsee yeah the 2 pc was also broken a few weeks ago and didn’t function at all.
