Since I have no desire to do the grind again when I first hit 60 at the end of august and got r14 a couple of weeks ago, I think I’m done. I hopped on era, guild dead, av dead, hardly anyone in org, maybe I’ll come back in a year or 2 when era comes alive again, or during bc.
It should start popping off again prob in 2-3 months. people are just lvling and stuff in fresh (including me and my guild) but we have not given up era at all. Give it a little and we will all come back 100%

Era will be back, the thing about the forever servers, is population simply fluctuates a lot, and fresh will always kill the population, but as people get bored of fresh, say after BWL they will be back, then you will see another drop as things go into TBC, but people will return as TBC moves towards Sunwell.

Yeah essentially people are prepping for TBC. They have more reason to log hours into alts on fresh than prepping their 29th alt to do the same raid every week. Most of the peope from my guild are doing thd same, though we do still attend raid nights.

It won’t be dead, dead. People will still be raiding. BGs will still pop during prime time and on BG weekends. I’m sure the same three guilds Whitemane Horde side will stick through these “dark times”. The same three guilds that made through the last dark times, shortly after TBC Classic launched.

Some are preparing for their return to Era and just using this time to level Era alts.
I don’t know why people think this.
People returned to ERA from SoD/WotlK because they missed classic.
But fresh is classic, so if people level to 60 again why would they go back to ERA in 3 months? In a year, when the sever jumps forward an expansion, yeah then you’ll see a return.

The hope is that they do the same gesture they did the first time around and allow people to transfer a copy to the forever era servers before forcing them in to TBC.
why don’t you… just play fresh 
it’s the anti-freshers coping, thinking that people don’t actually like fresh for some reason
