The Earthen Ring RP Guild List was maintained many years by Shaw/Sullivan and later Gospel/Sinsolaria. With permission, I've started the thread anew to keep our server forums updated.

The format (with a few adjustments) from the previous thread is used in this version to keep consistency. Credit for format is not my own.

Extra Info About Format:

Short Description. A tip on description: Keep it short! If people are interested by your blurb, then they can continue to your website or ER forum recruitment thread.

Recruiting is the recruitment style of your guild.
  • Open means that you /ginvite folks on the spot and/or recruitment is open.
  • Closed means that you're not actively seeking new members, but may snatch up a brilliant star if you happen across one.
  • Application Only means candidates can only join your guild via an application process.

If there is another method of recruitment you use, please include it but also explain it a bit so folks know how to join.

RP Experience is what kind of roleplayers you are generally looking for.
  • Novice means you'll accept the greenest greenhorn.
  • Veteran means you prefer experience.
  • All means you welcome folks from all levels of experience.

Like with recruitment style, if you have another way of describing this, please go for it! But include a small explanation.

RP Immersion is how heavy roleplay in your guild is.
  • Complete means you RP whenever you're in the game - your guildchat, your parties, your say/emotes are all in-character all the time.
  • Voluntary means people RP when and where they want to, but are more often In-Character than not.
  • Casual means you occasionally RP, but are equal parts out-of-character and in-character.

Contact/PR are your go-to members for recruits to contact when/if they decide to join your guild.

In addition to your Guild Website address, you can also include any recruitment or info thread you posted on the ER Battle.net forums. (Definitely recommended so you can keep all your resources in one spot!)

If there are any additions/adjustments you'd like to make to the format, go for it, but remember to keep it brief. The long write up can come with your recruitment thread or website!

Templars of the Rose (TotR) and Blood of the Rose (BotR) is a cross-faction roleplay guild that combines world RP, storylines, events, PvP, and raiding to create an immersed and fun game experience. Templars was founded October 3rd, 2007 and continues in WoW and other games today.

We RP anywhere and anytime, but enjoy raiding, PvP, and random shenanigans, too. You'll definitely catch a Templar hanging out near the AH but who knows, maybe they're out shopping.

Guild Master - Murdoque

Short Description - Might of Lordaeron serves as champions of the Forsaken and the Blood Elves. We fight to win battles and wars against any who would destroy our way of life. Grand Exemplar Murdoque leads the charge against those who would oppose our goals.

Recruiting: Open to all undead and blood elves, along with Death Knights of any race.

RP Experience: Recruits should have at least a basic grasp on roleplaying technique.

RP Immersion: Casual - Our guild does focus on Roleplaying, though our members do often take part in PvP or PvE when out of character. Sometimes we even have pure, silly OOC fun as well.

Our RP is focused around artifacts and world exploration, while dabbling with the main plot points of WoW. Even though we keep a tight guild chat policy in guild. Wretched Souls is more liberal in Role Play as we are a mercenary guild. We are professional role players who seek to enlighten the community with a color wheel of opportunity. Our Role Play varies from from moderately dark (PG) to handsomely dark (Mature).~We do have some good guys ~ Most of our Role Play is script material but not necessarily carved in stone. We do enjoy occasional cross-faction RP.

We are ideal for those in the military and/ or in College where as (depending your activity & communication.) We go for long moments with no boots. We do prefer active members. :)

Short Description:

The Tears of Draenor are a roleplaying and social guild that has been around since December 2nd of 2004. Led by a small, but tight knit circle of Arbiters, it seeks to find its way in a Horde that has fallen upon hard times and needs to reinvent itself.

Though we're not as heavily into the RP scene anymore due to a dwindling server population and time commitments from remaining members, we do still get together for occasional gatherings and roleplaying efforts. Everyone's character still has stories to tell.

Guild Name: Wanted Dead or Alive

Short Description:

WDOA is a new RP guild with intents to focus on characters who are misfits, outcasts and ill-fortuned criminals. We're not Evil or Amoral, but rather a collection of those who see the way of the world outside the rescrictions of civil authority.
It was created by my husband and I to better suit our characters, but are now opening our doors to any who wish to join (as long as you RP!).

RP Experience: Any. We'll gladly take new RPers under our wings.

RP Immersion: Casual, for now. Would like to move into heavier RP though.

We don't have a guild website (yet). I will put the effort into one if requested, however, past experience has shown me that people don't visit them much.

(As a footnote, I'd like to add that we're new to this realm, but not to RP or guild management. It's been kinda hard to get into contact with people (we've been leveling like fiends) and we'd most definitely like to get to know the community better.)

Blue Guardians

Short Description:

The Blue Guardians are a group of Field medics, supplemented by a protective infantry, that works with the Alliance forces on missions across Azeroth, as well as running a small clinic in the Dwarven District of Stormwind. Besides working as a medics, the Guardians also act as a non-profit organization, holding drives and events in order to give back to the suffering people of the Alliance.

Taking on those with healing hands and those that bear a wide shield, the Guardians train all under their banner to protect and heal. Besides the Guardian Healers and Aegis Infantry corps, the Blue Guardians work closely with their Allies in meeting mutual goals and aiding the Alliance.

Recruiting: Application Only. We are always looking for new members! Applications can be submitted through the guild website. If apps are approved, potential recruits will sit an IC meeting with one of the Guild Officers.

RP Experience: All. Any and all levels are experience are welcomed here! The Guardians absolutely love teaching newer RPers how to get into the RP world, and we also enjoy collaborating with seasoned storycrafters as well.

RP Immersion: Voluntary. While we do have RP very frequently, we keep guild chat OOC and have an IC communications channel with our allies. Many of our members also dabble in PvE and PvP aspects of the game.

Short Description:
Battle Pet Academy is that - an academy that holds demos as well as small group or one-on-one lessons in the art of pet battling as well as care and upkeep of said pets. Various pet services are available, just see a professor to find out more.
**If you wish to learn to pet battle and NOT make an RP out of it, we give those lessons and services as well. Our primary focus is to spread the addiction that is pet battling.

Recruiting: Open. It's more of an alt guild at this point for people wishing to rp as pet battlers.
