Equip Reagent Bag

I bought a Burnished Mining Bag, and when I go to equip it into the Reagent Bag Equipment Slot, it says “No equipment slot is available for that item.” What’s going on here, how does this work??

Bags for specific professions go in your normal bag slots. If you want to equip one, you can drag it onto your bag bar in place of one of your existing normal bags.

The reagent bag is specifically for a handful of new items added in Dragonflight:

  • The Gatherer’s Reagent Pouch from the profession quests at the Ruby Lifeshrine, or
  • The Simply Stitched Reagent Bag and Chronocloth Reagent Bag, made by tailors

A Burnished Mining Bag is not a reagent bag, it goes in one of your normal bag slots. Before the introduction of reagent bags in Dragonflight there were specialised bags for all kinds of professions that were bigger but could only store certain types of items.
