Epic Premaders Can't Even Stick Around to Fight Their Own

Truth is that its never going to change. If youre not in a premade or group of 5 during prime time, you are shooting yourself in the foot. Are you going to keep showing up to gun fights with a knife? Get some buddies together, coordinate, and bring it. A good group of pugs listening to a good lead can take on premades. Again, no bans are happening or will and no changes are being made so adapt and overcome or deal with it. :man_shrugging:

Then you wouldn’t spend it in ebgs in the first place lol? Maybe the lowest return on investment activity in the game.

It sometimes blows my mind how low the HLs of people in full premades all the time are.

There is no blue post stated that exploiting the queue system is allowed.

The entitlement is insane.

Just call it what it is, it’s exploiting. You have to manipulate the queue in order to do what you are doing, and yet again there is no blue post that says exploiting the queue system is allowed.

hl is still a time spent in game doing pvp stuffs metric. all you keep telling everyone each time you try to hl shame is that you play more.

There isnt much else you get from randoms though.

Except honor and conquest which i dont and i think a lot of people don’t really need cause they are capped.

HL is nothing but showing you spent time in a pvp mode. It’s a pointless number that does nothing to show if you are good or if you hide behind a premade in epics all day ever day.

It’s not a ‘challenge’ to gear, it’s an exercise in misery. Your opponents have a ~70-100 item level advantage over you. You’re not winning. Period. People want to play PVP without the obligatory dick flattening from people who scream that if it sucked for them it should suck for everyone else.

So we’re back to trying to explain reading comprehension.

People ending up in the same BG isn’t a reportable offense. Getting ~30 of your buddies in the same epic BG because you bypassed the restriction on raid queueing by syncing party queues is an exploit. You should absolutely get perma-banned for doing that if we follow Blizzard’s track record.

Remember, people get banned for unintended functionality of in-game items all the time. Blizzard banned an entire hardcore raid team because they discovered that saronite bombs let you bypass a phase on Heroic Arthas in ICC.

Match making is supposed to give you a relatively random team comp- random within mathematical probability, at any rate- and any attempt to circumvent that is exploiting the system. You know this because the only way to meaningfully compete against people doing this is to do it yourself. Which puts it in the same regards as other things that get banned without turning heads, like doping. We don’t even allow jockeys to feed their horses baking soda because it’s seen as an unfair advantage.

Any reasonable person who isn’t stupid enough to be won over by the, “BUT WE JUST WANNA HAVE A GOOD TIME MAN!” argument is going to understand that queue syncing is a massively unfair advantage.

Lose BG’s for an entire night and maybe you’ll start to understand what the problem is.

Because it’s not about ‘having a good time.’ It’s about having relatively easy wins at the expense of other players.

If I had to guess it was actually about the gold. Those blood diamonds sold for tens of thousands of gold at the start of the season. 2500 honor per, plus a flat chance in each victory box means that you can just easily grind for them.

GW2’s macro scale PVP system actively disincentivizes pvp as well. Everyone actively avoids each other to play objectives because the rewards for actually fighting are significantly worse.

One of the first major PVP updates Blizzard ever made was completely removing solo players from any semblance of PVP rewards and restricting it exclusively to organized premade teams.

Oh good, rules lawyering.

Goblin Rogue Pirate here—this kind of behavior’s already been reported to the highest authorities and the Blizzard hack team. Let’s keep it fair out there.

:skull_and_crossbones:

Oh, you mean the PvP currency that you need to grind for gear and sockets??? What kind of a dopey a$$ answer is that? Thats the whole point.

“Isnt much else you get”. Just stop. Please.

So you exploit to gain an advantage. That doesn’t help your case much.

If honor and conquest is what you wanted you could get it faster in… just about any other bracket in the game especially blitz or shuffle.

Why? Are we racing? If you cap conquest faster than me does that mean anything?

I raid, I do M+, I do delves, plus other stuff with my guild. I only dedicate so much time to PvP each week and I still hit all the caps and have my sockets maxed out, thus far…and I almost exclusivly do epics. Feels like its a perfectly fine way to farm pvp currency to me.

That’s because you sync exploit so you can win. Only the reason you are getting all that honor.

so when the TOS says, no exploiting, they are talking about CVEs and computer bugs. players use a colloquial definition of exploit that is closer to “take advantage of”

so blizzard says don’t hack the computer but players hear don’t take advantage of others.

the entire game of pvp is taking advantage of the gap between you and your opponent, this gap can be gear, it can be class balance, and it can be knowledge/skill. but exploitation of your opponent’s weakness is in fact the game. losing due to this gap doesn’t mean the other player cheated or used a hacking exploit to beat you.

Exploiting other players is an equally serious offense. Scamming, account sharing, win-trading, and anything else that may degrade the gaming experience for other players will receive harsh penalties.

With that logic cheating is ok in pvp because it’s “just an advantage”.

fun fact, this line of the TOS refers to abusing addons that lower your framerate or cause lag.

An advantage is another way of saying you are not good enough yourself baseline to meet the challenge.

Ernest Khalimov would be disapointed.

qqing about advantages is another way of saying “i lost”

You can’t see me, but I’m doing the BLAH BLAH BLAH talking motion with my hand.

It refers to anything not intended by the game.

Exploiting to get wins just proves you aren’t good enough to win legit.

Ahh yes, the classic childish trolling from the bad players. I get that facts and logic are lost on you but acting like that isn’t going to help you out at all.
