will that also be cut in half like the normal mount was? i mean should we wait for the devs to not want to pay that on their alts?
They said no changes to it unfortunately
But they also went back on our level 40 mounts. The good money is on they will change it at some point into the phase. Hold fast for 4ish weeks into 60.

Nope, gold sinks and grinds are part of the vanilla philosophy. This is vanilla+.

They probably will eventually like they did with the first mount, or have alternate ways of grinding for it.
0/10 nuggies not even bojangled. They flip flop on gold sinks constantly, i’d wait and see what the pvp event is at 60. PVP mounts or event mount probably be the best bet. Might be a surprise but a significant amount of people don’t want to farm 1k gold on the multiple characters they have on a seasonal server that may or may not even last another year, along with their respective class fly by night changes. They even back tracked on professions being a massive goldsink like engineering. Them making dual spec 50g is kind of indicative of that. Also GDKPs are part of the vanilla experience too, but we saw that change too.
Idk why people are so worried about mount costs. 1k will be nothing with how easy it is to get gold. In vanilla i was barely scraping 60g by the time i hit 40. Now I have 300g and I dont try to make gold at all.
A nerf to the mount cost makes no sense. You sound like a retail player asking for it.
