Suck at bgs, arenas, rated bgs - but in epics on dps, usually contribute and often shine, topping the kbs while hammering objectives. Love a choke call on AV, a sneaky assault to retake hangar after an initial clash loss, a good IOC turtle defence - which I call ‘The Ruslan’ in honour of that strategist - a solid WG defence win after losing SR.
Can’t be alone.
Only reasons for this post is to a) blow my own trumpet and b) salute the other lone wolves. Assume most of us were premade pretenders who turned our backs on that for a more casual style of game where we get to pick and choose our queues and fights and aren’t locked into the boring sync cycle, weird politics or bizarre egos many of the communities (but not all) enforce.
So to the epic lone wolves, props. Reckon we’re having the most fun while our fellow teams and players fuss an’ feud and care too much. You’re alright.

Lone wolves are usually gigachads yes. Because they have to be.
You need the individual girth to be able to just overpower anyone who comes at you alone outside premades.
I’ve been telling people it’s the path from the beginning.

I used to premade. But it’s more fun as a solo queuer because I get to act like a mercenary who will work with anyone to get the job done.

I really feel like this is the nerdiest flex I’ve seen in a while. But if it’s an anti-Que synch thread I’m all for the solo nerd wolfs!

As a solo EBG player myself, who has geared healers on both factions, I salute you! It’s a great feeling to solo queue for a win, especially when some of the more visible premade organizers show up. It’s kind of a “High Plains Drifter” mentality.

I have no friends. I only ever really join a guild so guilds leave me alone. Barely do rated content. Just queue randoms and delete people. Lone wolf for LIFE.

It’s not a crime to play games on the easiest setting; we’re all time and some of us cognitive poor, and have our limits.
But soloing epics is hard mode.

By lone wolf do you mean ignoring the objective to fight randoms on the roads. Because that’s me. Always has been. Always will be.
Sure I play objectives. Unless I like the class I’m playing. Then I look for small scale pvp fights that are fun which may or may not align with the objective.
In earlier expansion on classic I enjoy group fights but class power is too high for me to enjoy 5v5 8v8 clashes anymore.
