Epic edition upgrade doesnt seem worth it

DOUBLE the price of the base expansion, and you get a few free days and some pets? Seems like a no brainer to go base edition

Don’t buy it???

I’m starting to think some of you don’t have jobs alright this is absurd

Well, if it doesn’t seem worth it, don’t get it…that was always allowed, lol.

But the included 1-month sub, customizable mount, title, mog, and toys make it worth it to a lot of people. The 3-day early access and beta access are just icing on the cake.

It’s literally the same price as it has been for years.

I really don’t see a issue here. Plus those 3 days are going to be crap. Full of bugs and VERY VERY VERY long wait times

Weird how a things value can be subjective huh?

Did the rules of basic arithmetic change completely effective November 3, 2023?

That’s actually not true. This is the most expensive digital only edition we’ve had. For example, SLs epic edition was only $79.99. BFA Digital Deluxe was $69.99. Legion Digital Deluxe was $69.99. WoD was $69.99

Ok, then you get the base expansion! W
I do not see why this is a thread at all
You seem to have solved your own problem

(( I will proceed to buy the epic edition for a hearthstone to add to my collection ))

I could be a millionaire and not want to waste an extra $40 on minor cosmetics I will never use just to get 3 days early access (which shouldn’t exist as a perk in any MMO ever)

You’re unironically a paid shill if your counterargument is “Don’t you guys have jobs?”

Terrible anti-consumer business practices and overinflated prices are gigacringe no matter what financial bracket you’re in if you’re not some tiktok flexer that buys designer garbage just because your entire idea of self-worth revolves around flaunting wealth

Then dont buy it.

If we have learned anything in recent years, it is that consumers LOVE “anti-consumer” business practices. Perhaps we should find a new name for them since they seem to be so popular. Perhaps it should be rebranded as “fulfilling market demands.” Or more simply, “giving customers things they want.”

Perhaps when companies figure out how to make hundreds of millions of dollars from “pro-consumer” practices, they will change their ways.

Base edition it is!

I even get the 70 boost with that, though I’m seriously considering that I may not have a good use for it.

Most people aren’t shelling out roughly $100 for early access. It’s for everything else included in the pack.

Includes 30d game time, which is $13-15 value. So really it’s $75 -77 not $90 if you want to look at the value of digital goodies.

This was, funny enough, the thing that made me pause and consider it. I just have no use for early access or the pets/mounts/toys, so I think I will go with base.

Lol, technically if you count the cost of the base game, the mount, the pet, both toys, the boost and the beta access/early access it’s well worth the value by a long shot.

Just to add to your list of value…you forgot the mog that you get 2-versions of (with/without lightning effect) and the title you can earn from getting gold in all of the pre-order races.

Why are you misrepresenting that it gives you a fully customizable dragonriding bird
a transmog set
dragon races on your bird to unlock lightning effects on your transmog set
Storm Rider title from those races
a hearthstone animation toy
a ride toy
20 renown to all reps with:
Level 70 boost
5000g
12 renown Nifflem
1000 trader tokens
the month free and early acccess obviously pays for themselves…
oh, and the pet you mentioned
Did I just get trolled into advertising for EE?

Oh yeah, there was too much stuff that came with it honestly, I only got it for the mount and pet but yeah and thanks for the addition.
