Epic BG premades need to be stopped

Case in point.

Sorry you failed reading comprehension. Go back and re-read what I posted.

Don’t just pick and choose what you want to see.

It doesn’t matter what his reasoning is for staying, even if it’s to ‘ride your coattails.’ He has every right to be in that game, whether you like it or not. This idea some of you have that you somehow ‘own’ the BG is ridiculous.

He says he leaves when he sees a premade is the point. Our point is that he accepts our carry every time he’s merced. We have no issue if he contributes to the objectives the same as the rest of us do.

People who live in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.

Why would he? You guys dismiss every single concern pugs have, and then wonder why they don’t listen. Seriously?

We haven’t been leaving anything lately. Might want to check before you profess false things.

That doesn’t make you any less of a hypocrite, lol.

When the game heavily selects for you to lose because of premades you’d be a fool not to take advantage of the rare instance where a premade works in your favor. You’re still allowed to dislike premade groups. Prisoners who disagree with their sentencing aren’t morally obligated to refuse prison food.

So you admit it used to be atypical behavior? And that it’s a common problem for other premade groups?

We used to leave when we got the unmentionables. We haven’t been, we’ve been fighting them. They shut up, we shut up.

I wonder if we were in the same game and even if we’re not, it is happening. I know there was one game late at night sometime between 1AM to almost 5AM CST where I was in a Korrak’s Revenge epic battleground and it was taking forever despite having exhausted NPCs to support.

I was a backfiller into a game that the Alliance was playing really well and have pushed up to the Horde base. However, we couldn’t break through to take West or East tower at Frostwolf base for at least 3 hours no matter what we did, including the NPCs. The Horde wasn’t even trying to pursue Dun Baldar either. It was just simply honor farming from the Horde tower that goes up the ramp to the West and East tower.

A random pug and I happened to notice that the Alliance would just stand inside the tower before the West and East tower just to get farm. A full push never happened and I have found myself at the front line pushing when I’m not a melee, however, it was never enough even with NPCs. Then Alliance would run back down to the lower tower just to stand. It was strange, I almost thought that Blizzard filled half the game with AI bots to open that game as a lobby for randoms to come and go.

After the pug and I said something in chat about it, the Horde finally pushed us all the way down to the Frostwolf graveyard to make room for the Alliance to take the towers and everyone was active again. That only happened after we said we’re noticing strange things but the game itself was right around 4.5 hours long.

Korrak’s Revenge is different.

You can queue as a full 40 man raid for it. It doesn’t require queue syncing.

Oh, yeah, your average KR pug has zero idea of how to do the BG correctly. You actually want to leave FWGY (or Stormpike GY) uncapped while you capture the relief hut so you can lock the other team out of their own base. Capping the relief huts when the entire enemy raid is being funneled into it is virtually impossible.

Honestly just sounds like you had a team full of bots.

Good job. ASCII bear approves.

(‘’‘(’;.;‘)/’‘’) - ‘I approve.’

To be fair Icculus. I’ve been in an Ashran where Enfers and a bunch of pugs were facing You, Torture and the rest of the DJL and you guys through a hissy fit and refused to engage in a fight you already lost.

So while he may stick around and fight with you when he happens to be on your team he also fights against you.

The stickler being if the pugs have a chance to beat your premade, if its a premade which is just curbstomping pugs I dont stick around either. The times I have is when I’m playing a stealthie or managed to bait a few of your premade away from your zerg into some 1v2 or 1v1 scenarios which I usually win.

Heck a couple times they had to send a 5 man group to come “deal with me” because I was killing you guys so often in the Field of Strife.

You on the other hand never leave your friends side, bit scared of coming out on your own eh

Definitely a bit of projection of your other post aswel fyi

Defending the base is a legit strat. It does require ppl to listen.

Your contributing to a mass of negative experiences of those you face and those you abandon when you drop queues. I stand by my point.

Also you weren’t defending a base you refused to engage us

That’s what you think. I have several strats that seem different.

Lol the strat of huddling in mid, refusing to fight and just spamming toys in mid ? interesting strat

If your team is down on resources, it’s better to regroup and wait for the enemy team to become impatient and trickle in.

Do you know nothing of strategy other than pressing w all the time?

Totally, I am just chillin, levelling and gearing alts. RBG night w friends is the only form of pvp that still seems fun to me, mainly because of the people not the game lol.

Its the peeps you know that has kept this game alive imho, even against a grubby company that has let the players down at times. cough cough, shadowlands, cough lol.

player pop is getting low, now you really start to notice shady stuff like BOTs lol.
