I can pretty much guarantee none of those “solutions” would ever happen. People have been queue syncing for years and Blizzard is well aware of it and has openly stated it doesn’t break any rules.
EBGs being ruined by communities/premades been needing to be exposed for years now.
Yeah, it’s tragic that Blizzard lets people exploit and circumvent matchmaking limitations, running an entire game mode.
Maybe. People were multiboxing with exploits for years as well and that problem was dealt with.
That said, it’s only been in the last two expansions that the problem has really exploded. Premades were a rarity in the past. You might see one every 2-3 weeks at most. Now, I see them every other time I queue if not more.
I doubt they will change anything with the queue system which would impact the system as a whole. No one actually knows just how widespread this is, only Blizzard would, and they don’t seem too bothered by it so my guess is that it’s more overblown than what people would care to admit.
But this isn’t complicated though. Just playing the game and you see it. They don’t need to change the queue system much if at all. There are very simple solutions that would fix the majority of this.
There is literally a thread in the bg forums right now with two groups arguing with each other. They are actively avoiding other premade groups. How would the problem be so small if these groups are queuing into each other?
Every solution you had would impact the queue system lol.
I don’t know, how many EBGs are played daily by how many players?
How is giving players a debuff for leaving a queue impacting the queue system?
This is stupid man. Enough that these groups are using unlisted addons to avoid other groups.
Addon’s are irrelevant when you can queue sync without them lol.
lol?
Then why are they using them? Why don’t you go argue with them then. They clearly find use in them.
I feel like I shouldn’t have to quote my original reply lol.
All good. You can tell me how giving someone a debuff is going to impact the queue.
Also, feel free to share why these groups are using addons when you’re saying they have no value.
You’ll also be giving people a debuff that want to avoid the pre-mades too lol.
Jesus…
I would be more skeptical… only most of the replies in this thread stink of people who take part in this and are trying to shut down the conversation/muddy the waters in a bad faith manner.
Which leads me to believe OP is on the money, lol.
Clearly the only solution is to delete Epic Battlegrounds.
Easy solutions
Cross faction BG (Party get spread on both faction, if you queue with 20 players, you’ll get 10 on each side)
Account wide deserter
Remove leave queue button when the queue has popped, and deserter if you don’t take the pop(start low and growing on repeat offense)
All this can be done, it works for Blitz. Implement it in Epics.
Reminder there are no rated Epics. Epics are unique and need their own system.
???
My guy, they are dropping the queues before they even join. So you’re saying a solo player who HASN’T EVEN JOINED is going to leave queue? Do you understand what scouting is? Can you please make a small attempt to understand the issue.
Seriously…
Happens every time.
You are describing the issue in the world with these supposed addons, I’m describing the world as it normally is lol.
You ok, bud?
Did you check the google doc? it explains well.
The addons aren’t the problem, if they even exist, the issue is queue syncing which will continue to exist if Blizzard banned these addons. It’s literally in the my first reply to the thread lol.
Let all 12 people that pvp in retail enjoy it
