Bombs, RPGs at all Workshops and lessen the wall health would be good starts.
However, when offense loses the first push at ST they tend to run face first into approaching enemy siege.
Falling back to defend the towers while utilizing all canons and a barrage of RPGs could help pump Offense’s required kills up.
why would you even do that to yourself?
Yeah 40 people join and about half leave after saying NOPE or lol when they realize they on offense
thats me every single time
Nearly lost a defense yesterday night … with 16 minutes to go the inner wall was at 23 percent. With all alliance at the wall, a team of us went south and managed to take all 3 towers down in 4 minutes and finished the game with wall having 10 percent left .
How can you lose on Defense
Yeah, I think this is a large bit of the puzzle - towers are too squishy compared to the walls. You shouldn’t be able to destroy all three towers in 4 minutes whilst it takes 16 minutes to get the inner wall down 13%.
Here’s one from last night:

This screencap was taken shortly after we got steamrolled at the first teamfight. I barely escaped with my life.
I think I was like 6% health when I ran off thru the north entrance, decided to go hide in a corner while it ended. Fortunately defense losses are fairly quick and usually less than 7-8 minutes.
I’m not sure how much “the bg week effect” factored into the loss, and how much of it was just Alliance being Alliance. Probably a little bit of both

This battleground is absolute cancer, but if Blizz would bring back the ability to blacklist bgs you don’t like, they could be as slow and/or lazy as they wanted to about fixing content.

If i get it on offense, i just bail, that bg is complete garbage and is WAY to long, even when you towers get destroyed. Sitting there getting rolled for half hour is stupid
We had 2 siege engines along with few demos working on the east and west towers simultaneously before we met at the center one. But ya towers are extremely squishy and in a close game can just wipe out time . Another advantage for the defenders .
Edit:- Alliance got the inner wall down 13 percent in the time it took us to take down all 3 towers but ya your point still stands .
Alliance played smart at the start … ran away to BT and stayed there while the impatient horde split into every direction from SR. We should have lost that game .
And at the end just before the 3 towers came down and won the game for us , ppl were afking out raging in chat because they thought we were going to lose . BG week !!
