Allow 40 person Rated BGs… problem solved.

well pugs can create their own community and join discord so they have the same tools that the preamde have
but most of the pugs dont want to put effort in it
but premades put a lot of effort in creating a premade community especially from 0
and you know the more you invest the more you get seems fair to me
not really most of the premades have like 15 players at the same time in average so its like classic rated bgs
and as we can see the rbgs are kinda dead right now

It’s time for 40 person Rated BGs. Making this a reality would be unbelievably easy on the programming side and alleviate a ton of problems in regular epics. Just do AV and strand at first to see how it goes… 10 man RBGs are dead and half the people hate Blitz and don’t even bother… I see RBG gladiators with 0 CR all the time now in reg bgs I guess cause 10 man is so dead and they’re bored to death… the community needs 40 man rated epics big time. Add a couple of mounts, mogs and some weapon illusions etc… If you build it they will come. I mean how hard can this be? Fire the people making the absurd mogs at the trading post my dog wouldn’t even wear and put them on 40 person RBG duty… problem solved.
idk, rated takes the fun out. no gliders, no consumables, no profession items. a lot of what makes epics fun is from mastering the depth these things bring to the game.

1 most if not all premade communitys cant gather 40 ppl at once
2 the technical issue blizzard servers are trash and bgs start to lag hard when 80 people fight this will force them to buy decent servers and this is already a monetary investment
a real solution to premade bgs just restrict the bgs to have only 1 premade group and 35 random players this is easy to do and doesnt require additional resources
but blizzard just dont care

Do you genuinely believe that artists and 3d modelers have the same skill sets as developers and programmers or is this a joke?
Who cares, if they don’t; then fire them to free up the $$$ for someone who can. You’re missing the point.
It would be a really stupid decision for blizzard to get rid of one of the most popular features they’ve added in a while to please something like 1% of the player base partakes in. I’d say 1% is pretty generous too.
Pugs do get upset about premades but I don’t think they realized that premades are the only thing keeping epics alive. I was there in the day when any player worth their salt would have the two epics blacklisted when we had that feature.
People forget that people hated epic bg’s so much that they had to separate them into their own que and get rid of the blacklisting feature becaus that’s the only reason people used them

I hear exactly what you’re saying, but here’s the thing… I just don’t care.
First part is completely untrue… Sync exploiting “premades” are killing epics. Also, just because you and a few friends didn’t like epics doesn’t mean that everyone didn’t like them, the most blacklisted bg was a non-epic just fyi. Ashran was hugely popular and other large bg’s where very popular they just need to stop streamlining them and make them better and more balanced and one’s more like Ashran.

You’re fine to have that opinion, but factually, Strand of the Ancients and Epic BG’s were the most black listed battlegrounds, that is not an opinion, it is a fact.
Blizzard removed strand and separated epics into their own que due to popular demand because of how many people hated epics. I remember anytime an epic bg popped you would see dozens of people instantly leaving because they did not want to do an epic.
Ashran was severely disappointing to a lot of people when it first came out, like the rest of Warlords of Draenor, because they promised so many features that never ended up happening.

I don’t think you understand what a fact is. But anyways I never saw lots of people leave when epics popped, what you’re experiencing is confirmation biased. You think just because you experienced something then everyone else must. Epics used to have a very large player base before sync exploiting “premades” became the norm all day every day.
Because it wouldn’t work in this day and age without huge overhaul I have never seen them give a reason.
Who is everyone? That bg was filled all day ever day with multiple instances. It was clearly very popular.
The pve side of WoD was trash of course it was a filler xpac. Pvp was great.

There are easy solutions but blizz dont care.
Remove ranking up in wihtergrasp to get all the vehichles. This is stop the SR team fight at start up because you can get demos anywhere and dont need SR team win to rank up
Fix the squishy glaives and the weak demos in IOC. Hangar is the only win option and if ya lose it at start then just bail out. It becomes a wastew of time after a hangar loss.
AV is just a zerg fest. There needs to be a gate that does not open for boss unitl all for towers are burnt.

if you think premades have fun farming pugs at gy like npcs you are wrong this is boring
premades are up to a good fight against other premades atleast the premade that i play with
but the game doesnt offer interesting pvp content with awards for big groups (10+ people)
like raids for pve
arenas max is 3v3
rbgs are dead but even if not they are restricted to 10 people if you have more or less you cant play it
only random bgs remains
and they created ingame communities allow cross realm and cross faction guilds and cross faction groups like they push you to socialize
but on the other side you dont have pvp activities for big groups
so in fact both pugs and premades are victims of poor game design

Two ways this might “end” they might actually do their minimal thing for pvp for the patch and finally cut off certain ways to bypass the system or they wont do anything and let the garbage free reign…
I can’t imagine pvp being fun right now considering the dumpster fire it was 2 months ago.
