Instead of fixing shaman, paladin and druid issues, they are nerfing the specs that are strong. Instead of fixing guard druid issues, they are nerfing bdk. sounds like blizzard.

I wouldn’t mind this change if they lowered the mana cost, I’m still expecting more changes.
Hopefully this is just the pre-emptive change for soothing mist to drop to a .5 sec GCD. Not sure if soothing mist being a 1 sec gcd is as annoying in PvE as it is in PvP though.
I don't really mind this nerf... enveloping mist is mainly used for life cycles and the healing boost, not for it's healing power.

Env must eas literally only used on tanks who took a huge hit. To place the healing buff on them than hit them with a huge vivify.
The healing buff is where its strength is. Reducing its healing is pretty tame.

The healing buff is where its strength is. Reducing its healing is pretty tame.
Raid yeah. A lot more use in M+ besides just for the buff. Doesn't seem like you do much of it though.

When changes are made to a class, what most of us(but let's just say 'i') want to see is some form of contextualization. If a change is 'tame' and doesn't do much, then why change it in the first place?
If a change is too much, then what is it trying to balance?
Monk forums hasn't had some good news for a while, sometime soon I hope.
Our ST/tank healing is currently much stronger than every other healer and even with this nerf we will still be up there or the strongest still. This basically brings us closer in line with the other healers.
It's really not that surprising we are getting a minor nerf to our single target healing. A good portion of EnvMist's value comes also from the bonus healing ( esp with talent in m+ ) so people are getting worked up over nothing.
The mana cost could be reduced by a small % to make some people happy but on the flipside if you were already using too much EnvMist in raids to the point you feel it is ooming you - you were doing it wrong, and m+ you can constantly drink so it's not an issue.
I swear some people just see nerf and overreact without actually understanding what is going on. Then again blizz pretty much scares the crap out of people with what they did to a bunch of classes in legion and BfA so I see where the panic comes from. Either way this one wont be noticed.
